Rights are superior to any one individual. Its a no brainer: In exchange for Kirk living, honest men are disarmed, and criminals can feel safer in home invasions knowing the law abiding suckers inside are not armed!

The 2nd Amendment is not going to be repealed. Look at what it takes to repeal an amendment. It's not going to happen. Amending an amendment is equally difficult. Forget it.

Fortunately, none of this is necessary. There are states that have reasonable gun control legislation and very low gun crime. I live in one. Just look to those states as a model.

Why is it always about guns with you people?

What matters more to you? The lives of the tens of thousands of people who have died prematurely because alcohol is legal, or alcohol being legal?
