Choking

Good point. I just think it's something you learn about and decide to try, rather than it being a natural instince to choke (or be choked).
It would probably depend on how you looked at it and approached it. It is quite natural to engage in activities that you find pleasurable (a term that is going to be highly subjective), and natural for you to consider trying something that someone you trust claims they find pleasurable, even if others do not. One might well say that hunting for pleasure is not natural, yet hunters will most likely disagree with that statement, even the ones who are responsible enough to make use of the whole animal that they have hunted.

Please, people, if you're going to choke your partner during play, talk about it beforehand and make sure you've got consent for that specific act. Know the risks, as well.

Communication is always the key! 🔑

This ain't for me! I consider myself very vanilla in terms of an overal ses dynamic. I do like neck stuff, but just kisses and bites. Glad my wife's not into this, because that would be a no-no for me. Her top energy requires no airtube squeezin'!

Not knocking anyone that's into this, though. Do your thing, and do it safely! 😎

Hi maquiscat,

It is not my thing to be honest. I do not like 'pain' and 'torture'. However, I have noticed through the years that there is a surprisingly large number of women who do enjoy chocking to some degree. It is something I am always very cautious with though. But I do it because the bottom line of sex is enjoying it. So if that's what she wants (chocking) than ok. But it always makes me uncomfortable.

Now of course today it is much more common than it used to be. But the reason for that is simple. Everything that used to be taboo is now presented on a platter for all who are interested. If not, than they will get confronted with soon enough, because not many people who do not look on PornHub and the likes.

And this brings me to the next part. @TheGoverness Since sex has become so much more open and available. I actually think that a lot more attention should be paid to sex in school. It is a big part of life. Bigger for some than others. But denying education on the subject only leads to confusion, accidents, and misunderstandings. And surely the conservatives are going to cry when this happens. But what do you expect? You can never make all people happy. However, education is preparing people for life in the real world. Denying sex education is simply plain stupid if you ask me.

I guess there is a massive difference between liking it happening to yourself and wanting to do it to someone else. It’s not for me I can’t treat someone like that even if they wanted it.

Desire, dialogue and consent? Yes.

Just choking? That's ****ing sexual assault.

I might be able to do it to someone if they really wanted it, because I would be very careful, but I wouldn't be comfortable with it. But no way in hell is anyone doing that to me.

Ugh… i really hate choking fetishes because of the extreme damage you are really likely going to cause. Not to mention choking or drowning is one of the scariest things to our species.

Hedonism with no restraint has nothing to do with kink. It wasn’t just that a lot of kink was taboo to talk about…people would legitimately judge you as a morally worse person if they found out. Surely you don’t think that was a good thing?

Kink and LGBTQ are tied together because previously LGBTQ people were just as stigmatized as people that engaged in kink. Being outed as gay was like someone finding out you did pet play.

So since both these communities were othered and had to exist in a kind of underground they just naturally melded together a bit.

I don’t see much of people pushing kink on others. Not sure where that concern of yours is coming from.
They think showing kinks to others is the same thing as pushing it on others. Its another shaming tactic brought to you by the satanic panic.
