to quote: "China House will ensure the U.S. government is able to responsibly manage our competition with the People’s Republic of China (PRC) and advance our vision for an open, inclusive international system."

interesting. Seems like the bribes to the Biden's are paying off. And just more power for the Soros's of the world.

Libs love to screw the common man while pretending to help LOL.

From the article:

China House will ensure the U.S. government is able to responsibly manage our competition with the People’s Republic of China (PRC) and advance our vision for an open, inclusive international system. Our goal in creating China House is to help deliver on elements of the Administration’s approach to the PRC.
China House is a key component of the Secretary’s modernization agenda, which is focused on equipping the Department to meet the challenges and seize the opportunities of the decade ahead. The Secretary and Department leadership are committed to ensuring we have the talent, tools, and resources to successfully execute U.S. policy and strategy towards the PRC as the most complex and consequential geopolitical challenge we face.

There are enough cornball words and phrases in there to fill an entire BS Bingo card.

Best way to "manage" China is with the back of our hand. I would start by telling them that we will be dedicated to protecting the sovereignty of Taiwan with all of the political, economic, and military power behind our nation and our allies, and then let the Chinese go sulk over that.

We have spent too many decades forgetting that China is a threat to liberty and freedom; that they are an enemy, not a friend.

Just because President Biden is a confused and frail elderly gentleman should not exempt him from being investigated regarding any financial ties to China.

And why is Mr. Soros so invested in funding district attorneys that are so interested in stopping meaningful punishment for violent criminals?

This is such a lie - it's the conservatives who screw the common man.

How in the world can you make such a logical conclusion? This is very concerning to say the least, not the topic, but you and people like you that are allowed to vote.

2-day old press release is breaking news?

This is bonkers. The point of the ambiguous China-Taiwan approach has been to let Taiwan do its thing for a long enough time that Taiwanese embrace being "Taiwanese" and the Chinese realize they would harm themselves by taking over. And this would now happen.

Since some years before Hong Kong went back to the Chinese, huge numbers of extremely educated people in Taiwan have been getting dual citizenship in NZ, Australia, Canada, etc. If China tried to take Taiwan back now, it isn't just that Taiwan would resist. Those huge numbers would leave Taiwan if necessary to avoid being under the Chinese, who would lose them, and they are the only true advantage Taiwan has. The Taiwanese know this, but the Chinese government has not realized it yet.

Meanwhile, no one I know has ever forgotten that China is a threat to liberty. But of course, I'm liberal, and those are the people who've always known it. It's the conservatives who were crazy enough to mistake capitalism, an economic system, for democracy, a political system, and so think authoritarian China wouldn't be a threat to liberty if it became capitalist.

here comes all of the trumptards!

This is some wild commentary you posted. It is 3 clowns stupid.

This is such a lie - it's the conservatives who screw the common man.

We all know this.

What your post fails to realize is that we will all be filthy rich one day if we just work hard, ignore the environment and screw our friends as we embrace our enemies.

^ Garbage right-libertarian take.

Sorry, but your last paragraph is bad.

Blinken is a stupid militarist.

A recipe for disaster.

China is going to rope a dope this "China House".

There is only one way to make China do what you want: Make it worth their while when they do and make it hurt when they don't.

Now, that hurt doesn't have to be in a military sense. In fact, China responds best when they are being hurt economically.

Considering China is a nuclear power, blathering about “managing them with the back of our hand” is pretty foolish.

They are bringing in experts on China to help shape international policy towards China and that is your take on it?
