Don't you have to be in combat of some sort to be declared a military hero? We have been involved in two wars, ww1 and ww2, trump was in neither, hell, he wasn't even in the service but the gop wants to say yes indeed, trump is a war hero. It's just unreal how they will try to cover for the idiot.

Shortly after Donald Trump brazenly declared himself a “war hero” on Tuesday – despite famously never serving in the military – former GOP Rep. Adam Kinzinger derided the president’s remarks before noting that “his people are going to find a way to justify this.”

It didn’t take long for Mark Levin to answer that challenge.

“YES, TRUMP IS A WAR HERO,” the Fox News host – who also serves on the president’s Homeland Security Advisory Council – tweeted on Wednesday.

How long will it be before he orders the Army - nay, the Marines? - to mint up a batch of commendations for the January 6 participants. He could proudly wear it himself. Freedom Rally Service Ribbon? Capitol Hill Service Star? The AI had some other suggestions, but I think a human with a military perspective could do better than it or I.
 
Stolen valor is popular among that group. You'd think they had fought WWII and suffered The Great Depression based on what they tend to post on social media while most hadn't served a day in their life or sacrificed anything for their country. Hell, they don't even want to pay taxes. Useless...
 
Trump DID order those planes to bomb Iran. And since unlike McCain or anyone else who was captured, let alone those Marines losers that managed to die instead of continued service to our country, Trump is neither captured nor died in the battle, so he is clearly a war hero! He also has that ear scratch to prove it!

Dad was a Ranger in WII. Earned the Silver Star before losing his legs in France. I served in Nam, no medals for bravery. I wish Trump had served, I expect he would have been fragged. He wouldn't be here to screw the country. If wishes were horses... .
