...of everything that's wrong with politics, in general, and republicans, specifically. Lose your primary, change a few of your views and run as an independent. When you figure out you're going to lose again, try to get the other party's primary winner to drop out and support you in order to defeat the guy you lost your primary to.

Crist and Specter are good examples of a politician's strange journey from moral leader to moral lesson. Do you suppose Obama will follow and become (or try to become) a Republican in a desperate attempt to gain a second term?
