The group stages of the Champions League are upon us!

UEFA Champions League - Standings ? UEFA.com

Group A: A. Madrid and Juventus should top the group
Group B: Real Madrid and Liverpool should top the group
Group C: Tricky one.. Bayer and Monaco, but the 2 others could easily do it also.
Group D: Arsenal and Dortmund should top the group
Group E: Aka the group of death. Bayern should be a given, with Roma and Man City fighting it for second place, but CSKA is a dark horse.
Group F: Barca and PSG should top the group. Poor Ajax yet again getting a hard group.
Group G: Chealski and Schalke should top the group
Group H: A very even group.. but I think Bibao and Porto should do it.

Some very interesting games out there, Barca vs PSG, Real vs Liverpool, Roma vs Bayern, Bayern vs Man City, Roma vs Man City, A. Madrid vs Juve and even Arsenal vs Dortmund.

Cant wait!

Yeah. Only 2 more weeks to go. I will be really enjoying this and probably watch the final in Berlin.

I`ll be supporting Liverpool and Ajax.

You?

First round done. Strange games out there.

Group A: A. Madrid lost in a very bad tempered game in Greece. Juve won.
Group B: Real won but the one goal they conceeded in a game they totally dominated shows defensive problems that have been a problem in La Liga where they lost 2 out of 3 so far. Liverpool were damn lucky... was a weak penalty imo.
Group C: Monaco won and Benfica.. no shockers there.
Group D: Arsenal hammered (yes that is funny!).. and were very poor. Other game a draw.
Group E: City outplayed, but Bayern not effective in attack.. deserved win but lucky wonder goal. Roma looks strong, winning 5-1.
Group F: Barca scrape through against a very good defensive APOEL. PSG are poor against Ajax and only draw.
Group G: Chealski were poor.. this group is totally open after the first round.
Group H: Porto look strong. Biblao looks like newboys in the CL :)

There might be some more shockers this year!

Everton started their Europa Cup run with a smashing 4-1 win.

Holy crap English teams are bad in the CL this year.... borderline pathetic.. this week, the only team to show any class was Liverpool who lost to Real Madrid away.. the rest were a disgrace for the Premiere League.. gezz.

I'm a 'rent boy' first and foremost but still have allegiance to FCB and also claim Blaugrana.

Tough draw against NKM today for The Blues. Didn't think Hazard could miss penalties. Oh well. Nonetheless, congrats to the GOAT on his goals against Ajax today.
