Will he stick with the poor or not. Should be interesting to see.
At least until he is elected.

If market based approach = they don't get handouts then sure.
At the end of the day people will find work, no matter how little it is. But to give handouts will do nothing but give the incentive not to work.
Welfare is stupid.
At least until he is elected.
If there's one thing worse than economic capitaists, it's economic capitalists that claim they are fighting for the poor.
even worse are rich fat cats on the left who pretend their welfare-socialist dependency schemes actually help the poor in the long run.
Rich people are corporatist. The rest are details.
In a market based approach, it can either be hand outs but the public pays toward private entities to hand them out or there is the approach you do absolutely nothing if they can't afford it, no matter what 'it' may be.

whatever. I support corporations. I own several. They make me money
You're correct to an extent. But the thing is, alot of the people I reckon you're thinking of are really leftist in name only. They are just as bound to the big banks and big corporations as the rest of em.
I wouldn't interpret being a corporatist as a bad thing but to deny that the rich are for the rich and not the poor would be fooling one's self.
Which is why I find it so ironic that liberals believe that their rich politicians are somehow different. "Rich people are corporatist"... Yet liberals vote for them expecting that will somehow behave opposite to this mantra. Not a single congressman is in the 99%. Not one.
No doubt he will run on his state record. So far, he has a positive record on increased jobs, increased wages, lowered property tax, better education opportunities, blocked rate hikes at state colleges, incentives for in state residents to attend college, in increase in HS graduation rates, increases in test scores, and increases in spending per student. In fact the only real detractors are still pissed about the union thing.Obama was relevant to my comments and it has nothing with being bad/good. Walker does not scare me. I'm curious how he will strategize his position. Will he stick with the poor or not. Should be interesting to see.
No one should be forced to give handouts to another. Ever.
many rich on the right at least aren't actively trying to enslave the poor with the addiction of handouts
Which means the choice is one of entitlement enslavement or labor exploitation.
true enough but lots of the slow witted on the left vote for them thinking those fat cats are going to actually help them
Meh. Kinda true, but again I'd venture to say that the definition of "leftist" has become rather hazy and politicized. Most registered Democrats are actually centrist in practice, as are most Democratic representatives.
addiction is much harder to overcome. and lots of successful business owners started out working for someone else
The reality is, the choice ultimately becomes how much is it worth to you to keep the destitute from rioting.
on a world continuum of political philosophy, you are correct. In terms of what is acceptable to American voters, the current DNC is the most left we have ever seen it
The destitute weren't rioting before FDR were they?
Also, I'll shoot whatever ****er tries robbing or looting my house.
Then that speaks volumes about American voters, because the Democratic Party (with a few exceptions) is largely a joke when it comes to pushing leftist ideals. All that has resulted from the several Democratic majorities we've had in the last couple of decades is more war, an increase in corporate power, a larger income gap, less personal freedoms, and lower educational standards.
Which Ironically makes all the politicians, even the ones progressives vote for, corporatists.
