CEOs made nearly 200 times what their workers got paid last year

It's a good wager that those claiming CEOs aren't worth their salaries lack the slightest idea what's required to lead a large organization.
The CEO has a bunch of skills I don't have. One is to present well to a large (and sometimes hostile) audience, and handle the questions & answers.

If Walmart cut their CEO’s pay by $18M/year then they could give each Walmart employee a $9/year raise.
The economic activity, that lifts all boats, of the $9 would be a mountain compared to the CEO's molehill. That economic activity would act to boost the workers lives far greater than the CEO's. The spending multiplier effect makes the CEO cut a way better option for everyone but the CEO.

Don't whine about CEO pay rather figure out how to become one.
Over 330,000,000 people in America.
Under 200,000 CEO's in America.

Bad advice, almost like telling young people their plan to become a rapper or a ballplayer is what they should aspire to...

Nobody really expects to win the marathon but most serious runner know exactly what it takes to get there. You train like crazy and do the best you can. That's how life is. You compete for the things that are important to you.

Nice example, but marathon runners in general do not train to win the race. Just as most workers don't work to be CEO.
