I have known all through the pandemic that information was being censored, especially related to the vaccines. If I mentioned that on forums, I was always told that private companies can publish, or not publish, whatever they want. That their filtering and restriction of information had nothing to do with free speech or censorship. I was told that many many times. Probably at the covid forum here at DP.

So now Musk has shared tons of internal Twitter information with some independent journalists, such as Matt Taibbi. And now we know that the FBI, for one, was directly involved in Twitter's censorship policies. Criticism of the covid vaccines was censored. News stories about Hunter Biden's laptop were banned. There was a tendency for conservatives to be censored more than liberal/progressives. For some reason, the FBI seems to be in a supportive relationship with the Democrats, and in opposition to Trump and his followers.

So now we know, and denying is futile. Mainstream news minimizes or ignores it, but you can see it on Fox. And of course on the independent information outlets.

Maybe most Democrats are still in deep denial about this and what it all means. Our society is in trouble, and we cannot trust the intelligence agencies, the health agencies, or the government. Our only hope is independent journalism and the internet. Hopefully, there never will be a way for the powerful to clamp down on that.

I am actually concerned that Matt Taibbi might wind up a "suicide" victim.

Maybe you should pay attention to more than just CNN and MSNBC. Matt Taibbi posted extensively on Twitter, all the details. These are FACTS. The FBI was involved in policing what could or could not be said on Twitter.

Yes the Democrats call anything they don't agree with misinformation or disinformation, or far right wing conspiracy theories. Even if it is reported by liberal Democrat journalists. If Democrats don't like it, it is dangerous and must be suppressed.

This is exactly how the leaders of the old Soviet Union thought! Exactly.

I haven't looked at a news channel in months, and I certainly don't watch CNN or MSNBC.

I also haven't looked at twitter for more than a few minutes in the past month.

Which is why I asked for you to show me an example.

Significant claims like that require significant evidence to support them.
