Deporting isn't the issue , nobody is arguing that the government cant deport him...nobody.. Imprisoning them is...not just him, any men sent there without a conviction. The right wants to just skip over that one little detail.
You will never get law abiding folks to agree with your unconstitutional actions.
I think in all of this we have lost sight of the fact potentially hundreds have been incarcerated by the United States for what is likely life without being charged with , much less convicted of, a crime. I know some were removed from American prisons and therfore had due process but many did not. That is just plain wrong. Deport them fine and let the receiving country deal with them according to their laws.

So which is it? Is he a human smuggler or gang member? You have to ask yourself if this evidence existed and had merit why wouldn't they use it any hearing or trial? They did not. Why? Because they know...or at least the lawyers know...that if you knowingly submit evidence to court that is false, misleading or the veracity of which is in question you can go to jail or be disbarred. The fact that none of this "evidence" was ever produced in any of the trials and hearings tells you all you need to know about its veracity.
