I just watchEd Ted Cruz on CBS Face the Nation. The host continued to interrupt and argure with him throughout the interview. Barely let him make a point and cut him off near the end of all his comments. A string of loaded questions...

The next guess was a representative from the NAACP. The host was extremely nice. Soft ball questions. No interruptions and very polite.

Folks try to label people that watch Fox News as a crazy racists. But it’s the only place I can hear the Republicans point of view on anything without snide comments and interruptions. And honestly, their points often make more sense.

Has the news always been this bias or is this a recent development? Has the bias always been so obvious?

I would say the interviewer was acting no different than the way Cruz treats those that disagree with his views.

After 2016, and Cruz's sell out to Trump, and his principles, no one respects the man.

Of course, the host was.

If he hadn't been, he would be looking for another job (maybe as a janitor) tomorrow.

This is 2021.

Everyone knows to whom s/he had better be "nice" and "polite."

The Republicans have one sore spot, their economic policy, to cut taxes for the rich on the credit card.

They did it twice, and ruled nine years leading up to 1929. After handing over and economic crisis in 2008, they said, "No more borrowing, no more stimulus, failed stimulus, no minimum waage, no highways bill, no education, how are you going to pay for Obamacare?"

So tRump passed his tax cut and we didn't have to let them get away with it.

So don't let them get away with it.

You watch Fox as they not only agree with your views, but tell what you should think.

Turn off the MSM, use critical thinking skills, think and formulate your own thoughts. Base those on rational thought, not triggers from talking heads with' an agenda.

If only there was a way to send virtual tissues…

How do I know what is going on without watching the new. I watch CNN and Fox and make up my mind using those two extremes. I’d love to watch some unbiased news, but that doesn’t seem to exist…

what is MSM?

It’s an economic fact that tax cuts stimulate the economy…

I’m not upset about it. It‘s simply rude and creates distrust in the media. Which is why you can’t get people vaccinated…

The economy that Obama handed Trump didn't need any stimulation.

They said we can go faster, and ignored blowing the engine or sliding into the ditch.

The tax cut didn't pay for itself, when the pandemic hit, revenue was not keeping up with deficit and a lending bubble was forming.

I'm all for people keeping more of their money, but people, we need to pay the bills.

Beginning to realize that the only people who watch mainstream media are ones who get utterly twitterpated to see the same level of bias they see on FOX, only the sort that doesn't confirm their bias.

Unplug.

All I’m saying is that tax cuts are not always bad…

How do you explain the rudeness?

Reuters, AP, and the BBC are all respected News sources. The last does have editorials from both sides, but they are clearly labeled as editorials.

Stay away from CNN, Fox, and the others. If I had to choose one American nightly news broadcast perhaps ABC. CBS use to be respected, but gone are the days of Cronkite.

I wish those first three were on TV…. Maybe I’ll try ABC…
