No one jumped in front of him. They were there before he ever got there.
People who get hit by a car who knowingly, willingly and purposely rams his car through a crowd of people.
Thank goodness most people have a more reasonable view about what people are allowed to do and not allowed to do (protesting peacefully allowed, running people down with a car for no reason whatsoever not allowed).
Most were but some clearly jumped in front of him... in fact, one guy runs from around ten feet away.
The guy didnt even start running until the car started trying to force its way through the crowd and he STILL didnt jump in front of the car.
That whole road blocking thing was probably one of the most insufferable and ineffective styles of protests I've seen.
It was a child - the person who ended up underneath the car was underage. X Factor said he was worried she'd rape him though.
Just watched the video..it is shocking..the guy/girl tried to drive through the thickest of the protesters..not stopping..even with people on his bonnet...
X Factor - your entire premise is that this guy was somehow being attacked because there was a group of non-violent, peaceful protesters in front of him. The video evidence shows no one going towards his car until he drives into them. If he was scared, there was a lane wide ****ing open on the left that 3434 other cars found.
I showed you an example of a group of people who had intent to attack a person in a car. You get to be paranoid in that situation, X Factor. When a group of bikers surround your car and attempt to slow you down. You don't get to be ****ing scared when there is a group of people in front of you. That's not scary. If you are scared of that, then don't go into ****ing cities.
That's insanity. Stay in West Viriginia.
He starts when the car is approaching the crowd and who knows why the people got in the drivers way and refused to move... but they are stupid for doing so.
If I can get around to a computer with a full sized screen where I can watch the video again, I will post the actual times everything happened. I believe that I am right though about the car starting to push its way into the crowd before the guy started running.
As far as the people blocking the road being stupid, I can agree with the sentiment and agree that I think they were wrong to do so but that does not warrant assault with a deadly weapon against them.
I don't see an assault. I see a person who thought that they could drive slowly through, came up a little too fast and was set upon by a crowd.
There is nothing illegal about driving slowly through a crowd.
Well, here is a basic point where we will just disagree. I dont believe you can.
What if you have to go to the airport?
There are more than enough ways to go around congested intersections. The idea they were in any way forced to drive over protesters is just dumb. I suffer from extreme road rage when I drive but I wouldn't just bowl over someone. I would tell them they are effin idiots and use an alternate route.
No one was right.
He initially tried to drive slowly through the crowd...
He could of backed up and used another route. When there's an activity down town and large crowds gather I avoid them...I don't try to slowly drive through the middle of the crowd....
Same here but there is nothing illegal about driving through carefully...
Sure, nothing illegal about that. It is illegal to drive over someone. I'm as guilty as anyone about doing questionable things while driving but when it goes bad...you are at fault.
It was a child - the person who ended up underneath the car was underage. X Factor said he was worried she'd rape him though.
. Then . don't . go . into . the . road .
There is NOTHING peaceful about blocking people's day. It is rude, disrespectful and it is hostile to it's core.
And it goes further than just inconveniencing people. By this time, it was well known that the Ferguson protestors had been violent.
