Canada to recognize Palestinian State

France tomorrow apparently.
While the most significant point, IMO, is that France and Canada are rewarding Hamas for raping and murdering Jews, it is also noteworthy that France and Canada are responsible for the continuance of this war.

Their support for Hamas means that Hamas will not negotiate an end to the war, making it necessary for Israel to escalate their invasion of the Gaza Strip.

I told you I don't drink coffee. Neither do I drink tea. What I do is tell the truth.

There's always someone who objects to people posting the truth. But no matter how much you dislike it, it remains the truth.

Shame on Canada.

In other words, all that nonsense about "there being conditions" was 100% BS.

Just as I always said it was.

Canada is rewarding Hamas for raping and murdering Jews.
and that is the same limited binary view that the Israeli leader is spewing. It is like the ASSUMPTION that one is with the US or with the terrorists. That kind of generalization is meaningless.
The stipulations made by CDA are very clear. NO ONE is rewarding the HAMAS........but unless Palestine is recognized as a state .....and UNDER NEW leadership...........this constant warring between these regions will continue. The Israeli leader does NOT want to end this war effort until he has full control over Gaza. He is making these silly excuses so as to try and shame other nations that are more objective and REALLY want PEACE. And Trump probably still wants to level off GAZA and build some fanciful resort there. Otherwise he is totally useless in getting this resolved. Particularly after bragging about ending the wars on his first day in office. The bloke is not in touch with any reality that exists on planet EARTH. Plus he is too busy cancelling TV shows because his poor little feelings were hurt. Some tough guy. .....that cannot stand up for principles, or to leaders like Putin and Bibi. The silly man thinks that everything is some kind of business "deal"....... while this is so much more complicated . Unless both Palestine and Israel leanrn to live as neighbors..........there can be no peace. CDA has made it clear that Hamas is not part of the equation........

Don't think that one can enlighten the willfully unenlightened. Particularly when their "thought" processes are limited slogans .

And Trump probably still wants to level off GAZA and build some fanciful resort there.

The plans are on his desk.

Israel's far-right finance minister Bezalel Smotrich has said the Gaza Strip could be a "real estate bonanza" and that he is in talks with the US about dividing up the territory after the war - an idea previously condemned internationally.

Speaking at an event in Tel Aviv, he said "a business plan is on President Trump's table".

"We've done the demolition phase... Now we need to build," he said.

The opportunity to negotiate for the release of the remaining hostages or to rescue them has unfortunately passed.

They along with all remaining Hamas fighters will be killed as the IDF levels Gaza City.

While no one will mourn the deaths of Hamas militants unfortunately bombs don't distinguish between them and their captives.

They along with all remaining Hamas fighters will be killed as the IDF levels Gaza City.
And all because of Canada.

Unfortunately, untrue claims are not enlightenment. They are merely incorrect.

The stipulations made by CDA are very clear.
That Hamas is disregarding those stipulations is also clear.

That Canada is going ahead and recognizing an imaginary Palestinian state anyway is clear as well.

NO ONE is rewarding the HAMAS.
Recognizing an imaginary Palestinian state rewards Hamas.

Let me know when Canada deposes Hamas and brings new leadership to the Palestinian people.

The Israeli leader does NOT want to end this war effort until he has full control over Gaza.
Canada gave him no choice.

Now that Canada is rewarding Hamas, Hamas will refuse to negotiate.

Israel is left with no other option other than to escalate the fighting.

He is making these silly excuses so as to try and shame other nations that are more objective and REALLY want PEACE.
That Canada is directly responsible for the escalation of the fighting is not a silly excuse. It is an actual fact.

Unless both Palestine and Israel leanrn to live as neighbors..........there can be no peace.
And thanks to Canada, Hamas is going to refuse to do that.

CDA has made it clear that Hamas is not part of the equation........
What is also clear is that Canada is going ahead and recognizing this imaginary Palestinian state despite the fact that Hamas has disregarded Canada's "stipulations".

Batshit crazy stuff.

I don't drink coffee. What I do is post facts.
Better go get some then because all we've gotten from you so far is your opinion.

This point cannot be stressed enough. I mentioned before the tendency for some (a lot) Americans to default to the “fer us or agin’ us” simpleton’s method of assessing geopolitics. We are witnessing that on this thread.
Trump’s handling of this has been as fraught with missteps as every other issue he puts his tiny hands on. It was long ago realized there would be no possible peace in the region without a two state solution.
The Arab world in general were not about to sacrifice any of their territory to achieve that reality. Bibi simply concluded that wiping them all out was the only way to rid his neighborhood of the infestation and constant attacks. The thinking world is well aware of the Iranian involvement encouraging Hamas to continue it’s terrorism and there would be no way to negotiate Iran influence into marginalization without some form of Palestine being recognized with aggressive discussions of what Palestine should look like going forward without Iranian interference.
Other Arab states will have no choice but to adapt to the new reality and “may” realize it being in their best interests to provide better security from Iranian nonsense.

Well, it's about bloody time! We've finally joined the vast majority of states in recognising Palestine and can now lend our support and weight to pushing a post Netanyahu State of Israel to come to its senses and negotiate a two-state solution without Palestinian militants like Hamas at the table. It is time for Turkey to prepare to defend Syria and Lebanon, for Britain and France to help defend Jordan and Egypt to defend itself so that Israel can be peacefully denied trade and non-food resources until it agrees to negotiate in good faith for a Two State Solution with land swaps based on the 1967 Green Line.

Be well and be safe.
Evilroddy.

So what will they be naming it after Israel does all the "demolition" and then the real estate groups take hold of the territory?? Notice that no one is concerned about the starving population that is being gradually "evicted".... This has nothing to do with terrorism now......or finding a peqaceful solution between the two areas. Should not be long before Donald gets another golf course in his name... We just have to wait to see how they will spin this effort. Of course Donald has no issue "re locating" or dislocating , evicting or "deporting" humanity.......particularly groups he is biased against........or are in h is IMPERIAL way.

This posturing does no good in that area, and instead harms.

But, I suppose Carney thinks it will be good for him domestically.

So I suppose he doesn't care.

What's sad is that it took a genocide for Western countries to decide that Palestinians are a legitimate people. It's probably too late, though. Thus is the farce we call the United Nations, it would seem. The West's "rules-based order" is rendering itself morally irrelevant with each passing day.

Falsely accusing Israel of genocide means that Israel gets to keep the West Bank all to themselves now.

The West's "rules-based order" is rendering itself morally irrelevant with each passing day.
Nonsense.

Yes yes blame everyone else. That personal responsibility i tells ya.
Canada is the only party that is responsible for Canada's actions.

Indeed. This juvenile blame game is what Trumpers aka Maga do so well.
Canada is the only party that is responsible for Canada's actions.

That is incorrect. I have provided facts, not opinions.

You are using that as an excuse to dodge inconvenient points.

Trump’s handling of this has been as fraught with missteps as every other issue he puts his tiny hands on.
Canada's move here has dealt more harm to the cause of peace than Mr. Trump ever has.

It was long ago realized there would be no possible peace in the region without a two state solution.
The Arab world in general were not about to sacrifice any of their territory to achieve that reality. Bibi simply concluded that wiping them all out was the only way to rid his neighborhood of the infestation and constant attacks.
Mr. Netanyahu is merely defending his people from the Palestinians. He is not wiping anyone out.

The thinking world is well aware of the Iranian involvement encouraging Hamas to continue it’s terrorism and there would be no way to negotiate Iran influence into marginalization without some form of Palestine being recognized with aggressive discussions of what Palestine should look like going forward without Iranian interference.

That seems hopelessly naive to me. The odds are very high that Canada just made everything a whole lot worse.

I hope that you're actually right. I just don't think that you are.

Well, it's about bloody time! We've finally joined the vast majority of states in recognising Palestine
Shame on Canada for making the world a worse place. Canada is the direct cause of the current escalation and combat in Gaza City.

and can now lend our support and weight to pushing a post Netanyahu State of Israel to come to its senses and negotiate a two-state solution without Palestinian militants like Hamas at the table.
Meanwhile over here in the land of reality, Mr. Netanyahu and Hamas both remain in power.

It is time for Turkey to prepare to defend Syria and Lebanon,
Israel can destroy Turkey's military if necessary.

for Britain and France to help defend Jordan and Egypt to defend itself so that Israel can be peacefully denied trade and non-food resources
Israel has good relations with Jordan and Egypt and has no reason to attack them.

It is curious that you seem to think that protecting Jordan and Egypt from attack would somehow result in trade being denied to Israel. I'm not following your logic there.

If Israel ever needed to destroy the militaries of Britain and France, the United States would help Israel do it.

peacefully denied trade and non-food resources until it agrees to negotiate in good faith for a Two State Solution with land swaps based on the 1967 Green Line.
If the world were to ever cut off trade with Israel, a likely result would be the forced expulsion of all the Palestinians into Lebanon.

Shame on Canada for making the world a worse place. Canada is the direct cause of the current escalation and combat in Gaza City.
No, That would be the State of Israel regionally and Russia and America globally who are all attempting to acquire or supporting acquisition of territory by aggressive war.
Meanwhile over here in the land of reality, Mr. Netanyahu and Hamas both remain in power.
Mr. Netanyahu will be gone soon. Hamas is barely in control of Gaza and what parts it still has some control over are being devastated by the IDF which is killing civilians in droves each day. Any state committing mass killing, war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide does not make the world a better place, it makes it worse.
Israel can destroy Turkey's military if necessary.
Turkey is a NATO member state. If Turkey positions troops in the region which the State of Israel attacks and then Turkey launches retaliatory airstrikes from bases in Turkey against Israeli troops in Lebanon and Syria and then the State of Israel responds then that is the opening of a Israeli-NATO war. An attack on Turkey would be an attack on NATO.
Israel has good relations with Jordan and Egypt and has no reason to attack them.
Those relations are fraying and the Israel right wing is no talking about taking the East Bank of the Jordan and Sinai to boot. Eretz Israel must grow or perish in these right wing minds.
It is curious that you seem to think that protecting Jordan and Egypt from attack would somehow result in trade being denied to Israel. I'm not following your logic there.
Sanctions and embargoes are being discussed by Europe now.
If Israel ever needed to destroy the militaries of Britain and France, the United States would help Israel do it.
Both are nuclear armed powers. I think not. It would be handing the world over to China and Russia.
If the world were to ever cut off trade with Israel, a likely result would be the forced expulsion of all the Palestinians into Lebanon.
That's already happening, so it's too late for that threat to have real teeth I'm afraid.

Be well and be safe.
