MarkMuses, Albion69 and TheLegalEagle, if you happen to read this, perhaps we can continue our discussion on this site.

I am unable to get onto the www dot forum-politics dot com site.

When I try to get on, the initial page displays and I immediately get this error message:

firefox.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows. You will need to restart the program.

An error log is being created.

[ OK ]

Last night, when this first occurred, after making several attempts get on, I went to the "debate" site (this site). It loaded with no problem. In the absence of a "help" option, I wrote a message to "contact" describing the problem and seeking guidance. So far, I haven't had a response.

The problem continued this morning. Here are several facts:

I can get on to one of the threads on the site by using the link in the email that notifies me there is a new post on that thread. When I get on, I can log in and I can read the thread but any attempt to go "home" or to post a response creates the error.

The other sites I visit (including this DEBATE site) show no problems

I removed the cookies related to the site and they reset themselves.

From my perspective, it appears the problem is on the site, but I believe others are able to access the site so the problem must be on my end. Can anyone tell me how to resolve this situation?

Interesting website. I am unsure if we can help.
If you wish to advertise or link competitors, please utilize your signature.

Thanks. :)

Whoops!!!

I was under the (obviously mistaken) impression that both sites were operated by the same people because they look so much alike. Please pardon my stupid assumption. I've been hunting through mozilla for an explanation of the problem but haven't found one.

Darn it. I feel really cut off because I was in the midst of an interesting discussion. I hope my compatriots see this. Perhaps we could continue on this site.

Please pardon my error. I was unaware the other site was a competitor.

No worries, interested persons can still see the other forum it is just no longer a link.

I hope that you do indeed continue your discussion. Obviously, we are biased for it to happen here however. :)
