Even though the death toll is not as high as some hurricanes, the California fire seems like the bigger story. Entire communities are destroyed. So why not wall to wall coverage of the California fires? Let Trump wallow in his hidey hole for a couple of days, at least. Forget about 'im.

I think that the so-called journalists have gotten bored with the story, a couple of years ago they were playing it up big.

No hype, no race card, and it has drug on too long. Our media is only concerned about lining the pockets of the billionaires that own it. Now if they can blame Trump or Bush for them and spread hate now we got front page news. Or if minorities get killed because a white leader left them in harms way now you got news.

They care about getting eyeballs, and one fire looks pretty much like another...they are boring after too much play.

Over exposure they call it....it does not matter how important a story is as news, what matters is 1) how does it play as entertainment and 2)will it help us to get to UTOPIA?

Definite double standard in relation to Trump. He made the proper appearances in the hurricane ravaged states. No such appearances in California and only initial criticisms of the state and threats to withhold federal funds. I guess he is just the president of red states. In regards to the media there may be east coast west coast differences but I see no great imbalance in the coverage.
