This looks more like incompetence than criminal to me for one simple reason: How would holding back on ballots from a very Democratic county help the Democrats? Just let them be counted and go ahead and win. Now, if a Democratic official had held a bunch of ballots from a Republican county, then it would make a bit more sense and have a more likely criminal cause.

Broward County casts a pall over the Democrat House victory
It seems that winning the House was not enough for Democrats. It now appears that the fraudulent, criminal political practices in Broward and Palm Beach Counties is catching up to Democrats and may even lead to national consequences.
You have to wonder about the other Dem congressional races they supposedly won. Did they cheated in all of those and we won the House after all?

While I agree we need to both protect the integrity of our voting process and maintain the trust of the public, since most voter fraud is via absentee ballot, Voter ID isn’t the magical cure all the far Right claims it is.
But there are twice as many registered Democratic voters than Republicans in that county. Why would you expect half and half? Just because the state tends to be evenly split doesn’t mean that is the case in each county. There are liberal counties and conservative counties in Florida.
That's another point I find odd to say the least. Across the contested vote spectrum, it seems that only Democrat led counties can't get the count straight in a timely manner. Why is that?

Probably worth looking into. One possibility is just that regions with higher population densities are going to be more overwhelmed, but also tend to be more democratic. If rural counties tended to vote Democratic and urban counties tended to vote Republican then it might be Republican counties getting counts in late. Or not. Their procedures need to be reviewed.
