Brett Kavanaugh :a class act

At the risk of antagonizing some people, I don't think Kavanaugh raped Ford. He and I are from the same generation, ran with the same kind of people. I'm not saying it was right, but young men getting drunk and acting inappropriately with women happened all the time in the 1980s.

I do not like the man because I think he's a sniveling nasty person who is way too partisan for my taste, but I will continue to defend him as far as the "rape" charges. I don't believe he raped her.

But he isn't a class act by any means.

While you are entitled to your opinion, why is he a sniveling/nasty person? If it is because of how he responded to being publicly called a rapist, I would argue with you that it is a human reaction to respond harshly against accusations such as those. If it is something else, then I can't comment.

You don't need to "suspect" you can look at the past. How long was Harvey Weinstein and Jeffrey Epstein protected by the same cohort? Hell, Hillary Clinton viciously attacked anyone who accused her husband of being a sexual predator. You had women make accusations of sexual assault against Biden. Meanwhile, a ~35 year old accusation, out of nowhere, is supposd to be taken a gospel to light a person's world on fire?

Kavanaugh also praised the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and retired Justice Stephen Breyer for welcoming him to the court after facing allegations of sexual misconduct and assault, which Republicans argued was a “sham.”

That was pretty slick! All those commie baby killer Senators asked him him point blank if would overturn Roe V Wade and he said " Absolutely not!"
But if you zoom in close, you can see he had his fingers crossed.

But Trump told the Fbi not to pursue it. The memo to the FBI is one of the classified documents at MAr A LAgo. Merrick Garland is going to find it and that will be the end of Mr. Kavanaugh!!!

Yes. Oj was never convicted of the murder he most certainly did. As for the rapist not all rapists get charged.

His behavior, his emotional outburst, was inexcusable for a USSC candidate. I expect higher standards for our justices, whether on the bench, in the public or in front of Congress. Can you guarantee his emotions will not play a part in his rulings? Imho, his tantrum was not because of the allegations against him but because he saw his nomination threatened. I don't think an innocent man at that level of scrutiny would protest that loudly if there were not some truth he wanted to hide about his character.

Forget politics for a moment. I am far more understanding of someone having some emotional outbursts when publicly being accused of a rape you didn't commit. If he responded this way because his nomination was threatened, ie: accused of cheating on taxes or something, then I would agree with you. However when you get accused of being a rapist, child molestor, etc then I am willing to understand why someone might fly off the handle to a greater degree.
