Breonna Taylor grand jurors say police actions on night she died were 'negligent' and 'criminal'

Again WHAT conflict of interest? You're still fantasizing

Even YOU talk about the buddy-buddy relationship with the cops they prosecute. Feel free to pretend that such relationships do not create a conflict of interest.

Maybe is socialist countries.

I’d like to see an answer to that too. There seem to be a lot of people who imagine that grand jury service means somebody slams a tome of the entire legal code in front of you and you get to peruse it at your leisure and charge people with whatever you want.

Breonna Taylor's mother asks for independent prosecutor to present case to a new grand jury

If everything AG Cameron did was above board, this request should be no problem for him. It would put all questions to bed.

But we know Cameron instructed the grand jury in a manner intended to supply the determination he wanted, not the determination that best satisfies justice.

Justice is a process not an outcome. The only thing that would be accomplished by that is to set up fertile ground for the appeal of any conviction. Cameron offered up the charges that fit the evidence and which he believed could be proved beyond reasonable doubt in a court of law. You can’t go jury shopping for charges that aren’t evidenced.

Basically, grand jurors are saying that Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron limited their indictment options to only what "he thought" prosecutors could prove in court. This tied the hands of the grand jury to indict for higher crimes.

Cameron, a Republican, called for halting abortions in Kentucky during the coronavirus pandemic. He also legally challenged executive orders Governor Beshear took to combat the spread of COVID-19.
How many more incidents do the republicans in power need to show to their base until the base understands the leadership doesn't care about you? They only want your vote and then they crap all over the base. Are these the actions of people who care about others?

Aww. You poor baby.

Yet another juror says the grand jury was manipulated to arrive at a specific conclusion.
