It's pretty apparent that removing any potential means of defense from cops would mean more dead cops, which, I gather is what you'd like to see.

My first thought here was, "Wow--good catch!" So I clicked on your link and then Googled because I'd never heard of Jim Hoft.

He doesn't rate a Wiki reference, but here is what popped up on the first Google page: Jim Hoft: Dumbest Man on the Internet? | Blog | Media Matters for America

Jim Hoft hosts the Gateway Pundit. Has only recently returned to work after coming close to dying last fall from a post-surgical infection. Hoft claims that he can "confirm," and that's a mighty big word to back up. He says his sources are "within the District Attorney’s office and confirmed by the St. Louis County Police."

So I guess we will all see whether Hoft has the facts. And about those? I'm going to stick to them and also give credit to borrowed ideas.

Yes, Jim Hoft has the well earned nickname on the internet as Stupidest man on the Internet. Google his name, it comes up in the results. He has been grossly wrong many times, the guy is a hack.

I think the way information has been handled has been unfortunate. The Ferguson police are going to be in for serious, legit criticism. Other LE entities too, of course, as this is picked to death. Given what and how information is being provided, it remains very important to continue to not rush to judgment.

There are all kinds of responsible media out there....Jim Hoft is not responsible...in fact, he is the stupidest man on the internet.

The problem we see on this thread is typical.
Some are commenting without having kept themselves abreast of information.
Has all we're being told daily been proven to be true.
Nope.
Not yet.
And, to some, it may never be.
And that includes the original scenario about the kid surrendering.
Except ... if anything, what has come out casts a lot of doubt about that story.
So why have some posters bought into the original script and simply will not read another?
