They're a state for Jews, but the government is secular. In as much as the US government is secular. That is, in name if not always in practice. But, better than the alternative.

So the Jewish religion and the territorial claims in the Torah shouldn’t matter to the Israeli government, yes? Or do they enshrine both?

It's a good sign that Israel doesn't have faith in us and that it doesn't act in our best interests.

Netanyahu did everything in his power to help Trump get elected so it's odd that he now has so little faith.

Define "pure Islamophobia." Is it looking at the history of the attempted conquest of the world by Islam over the last 1400 years? Look at what is happening in Africa right now. You want them to have nukes?

Do Republican successes in things like allowing school vouchers to be used at Christian private schools mean that America is a Christian state?

I think of Islam as the religion it is. What was the religion of the country that used WMD on Iran?
