Not really. When debating crime, Bragg boasted about his experience. Mentioning his experience prosecuting criminals is not in any way equivalent to "elect me and I'll prosecute Trump." It's a RW lie.

I remember the days when “conservatives” at least pretended to understand the law and constitution. All it took was two bit con man from NYC to blow smoke up their asses and they stopped even pretending.

I don’t think the 6th Amendment’s expired. A valid felony indictment would include the specific crime(s) being alleged, not some nebulous law(s) to be named months down the road. This entire process is a sham.

There is no 6th amendment violation. He has an attorney. He is getting due process and his attorneys will know the evidence during the discovery phase. He knows exactly what he is being charged with x 34.

I remember when Republicans would be on the side of the law when one of their own was accused of a crime. It was other Republicans who forced Nixon to resign.

Now, Trump's followers are deeply attracted to his lawbreaking and general contempt for democracy and social norms because they see such antisocial behavior as an example of a "strong leader" who "will fight for people like them." This is a defining feature of the conservative-authoritarian political personality type. They really don't care that he broke laws for decades.

of course it isn't. What we know is that since Bragg took office violent crime in NY has decreased.....and Jordan is more interested in crime in NY and Bragg than he is in Cleveland, Ohio.

The Electoral Count act was buried deep in the 4,000 page spending bill rushed through in the lame duck session. It has nothing to do with the so-called insurrection the January 6th lynch mob was supposedly investigating.

Zelenskyy openly stated he didn't feel intimidated by the request to investigate the Biden crime family's activities. This is the same guy being lionized for standing up to the Russian invasion but he was cowering before a request from Trump. Nonsense.

So now the standard is opposition research is impeachable? The Biden crime family's activities are untouchable if they are conducted overseas. Brilliant.

Bragg's central campaign promise was
a promise to pursue Trump and hold him "accountable," which is progressive code for going after Trump in any way possible. That's a direct repudiation of equal justice. The shoddy, politically motivated excuse for an indictment is just his way of keeping a campaign promise.

The indictment doesn’t name the specific statute used to elevate the falsification of records charges to felonies. Bragg acknowledged that at his press conference, saying New York law didn’t require it. Of course, the 6th Amendment trumps that.

I kept reading the RW lie, so I looked it up. Couldn't find it. What I found were arguments from the debate.

Actually, that's overkill as the fact Bragg didn't immediately pursue the case is a clear sign he never promised to prosecute Trump if elected.
