Boris Johnson faces no- confidence vote

I’m not so sure. There’s a real threat the Conservatives will lose Tiverton and Honiton to the Liberals.
Boris only won 59% support compared to Theresa May’s 63% and look how her opponents were emboldened which led to resignation within 6 months. I think things are going to get really difficult now for Boris.
The problem with comparing Boris to Theresa May is that May cared about the Conservative Party and understood a house divided cannot stand. Boris doesn't care about his party at all.

My point being that Boris is no Theresa, alone for power madness of the former as well as the nasties being far more prone to stick to him than they were to stick with Theresa.

But yeah, it's all speculation.

Let's get the party started!

A self-styled 'coalition of chaos' happy to vote against Boris's NI proposals and onwards from both left and right just 'cos. For US users, this is like the Marjorie Taylor Greene wing and the Liz Cheney wing uniting in common cause to take a wrecking ball to both a Republican administration and the party internalities.

It's Zelensky I feel most sorry for, obviously he can't state the blooming obvious but has to smile for the feller who it can't be said has not helped him.

I told you Boris winning but barely was the worst possible outcome for the Tories, now they remain divided.

Yeah it's just actually living in prison planet here tis a headscratcher as to the balance of him being gone asap vs longer-term auto-destruction of Tory Party in terms of the rather imponderable balances of lesser evils for UK civil society in immediate and longer-term future.

Imagine, we could have a failed government that can't even push though legislation to call a general election. And then the Queen dies. No government, no monarch, no constitution. Frikkin' perfect storm.

If they tried to push a general election, the opposition would happily support it considering the polls right now.

Another policy reset:

The phrase in the article "It's not entirely clear how the government's right-to-buy policy is going to work" can basically be applied to anything BoJo comes up with.
