Let me tell you straight up, there is no way in hell I'll ever believe numbers coming out of the Trump Administration. Trump is known liar and he will instruct his agencies to only produce favorable numbers. It is who he is and how he rolls......it started with the inauguration ratings and will never end until he is gone.

It certainly doesn't help that Donald has promoted exaggerating (i.e. lying) as part of "the deal" for decades. That went off the charts during his mismanagement of COVID, lying about everything from when the pandemic would go away to banning travel from China to the virus affecting "virtually nobody."

So MAGAs should exercise patience with the rest of us while we grapple with "TDS" and, you know, not take any proclamation coming from him or his administrative goons as gospel without independent verification.

Less than 600 people crossed illegally into the U.S. from Mexico on Sunday – a stunningly low number since President Donald Trump took office.

Sources tell Fox News that not a single one of the nine sectors received more than 200 crossings on Jan. 26, and the number of daily encounters only reached 582 in total. The Del Rio sector – which is the same sector that would sustain over 4,000 crossings per day during the height of the border crisis in December 2023 – only recorded 60 crossings.

For comparison, the daily number of border encounters during the final days of the Biden White House teetered between 1,200 to 1,400 per day.

And you miss the point entirely. It is on paper until enforced. Enforcement doesn’t happen due to words on a paper nor do words on a paper enforce themselves. It takes actual government agents to carry this out. Trump can dish out as many EO’s as he likes but it doesn’t mean they are immediately put into action.

Now it’s “it references logging the encounters”. Do you really believe that only 600 people crossed into the US from Mexico and that ever one of them had an encounter with CBP? Those are two different things. It would be like our local police stating that they solved 1000 cases this year so there were only 1000 crimes committed.
