The Rangel and Waters ethics trials, they say, prove that Democrats have made good on their pledge to clean up the House of Representatives, where, in the past, Republicans sought to bury their scandals.

Two ethics trials of high profile Democratic legislators? Not a big impact? That's news for some contributors to these forums. But contrast how Democrats address their scandals with how Republicans do. Dem's conduct public trials and Repub's do what? Mostly look the other way.

I hadn't thought about it, but Boehner's probably right. What with the fear of being called a racist, this won't matter much.
