Harmeet Dhillon - Trump's hand-picked choice to lead the DOJ's Civil Rights Division, has been taking a wrecking ball to the woke government entity - forcing out 'a majority of career managers and implementing new priorities' that have radically altered its mandate, NBC News' swamp scribe Ken Dilanian reports.

Harmeet Dhillon
"It’s been a complete bloodbath," one senior DOJ lawyer told Dilanian. Other sources said that over a dozen senior lawyers - "many with decades of experience working under presidents of both parties," have been reassigned, while others have resigned in frustration after they were shuffled around.

Dhillon kicked the hornet's nest last week - issuing a series of memos outlining the shifting priorities, which include (gasp!) "Keeping Men out of Women's Sports," and "Ending Radical Indoctrination in K-12 Schooling."

"This is a 180 shift from the division’s traditional mission," one former senior official said - declining to be named "in fear of retaliation.

MAGA: having civil rights is bad

Putin: hey @VySky, tell the DP folk that civil rights are "woke".

....and he blindly obeys. I can only guess that the bet is that because non-MAGA is not categorically evil, they never have to worry about their evil being done to them if they lose power. That is, for those posting from America.

I see you are terribly upset about this development.

I've been predicting that the CRD would be a casualty - have seen this coming a mile away. The reasons are obvious. Black and brown people are going to have the firehoses turned on them again. They're setting up a kind of Jim Crow 2.0. Women's rights and gay rights are also about to get chucked into the waste bin.

So you have a civil rights violation complaint, eh?

Most MAGAts are so incompetent that clearing the deck of minorities and women still won't help.

Democrats know how.

Um, brah, he renounced it........you.......embrace it.

Yes, Robert Byrd did renounce his membership in the KKK and was a strong advocate for civil rights while serving in Congress
When Byrd died at age 92 on June 28, 2010, the NAACP released a statement saying that over the course of his life he “became a champion for civil rights and liberties” and “came to consistently support the NAACP civil rights agenda.”

What makes longevity the measure of doing a good job? I know lots of people who stayed in the same line of work and were never very good at it. It was comfortable for them and they were not pressured to do anything special or even correctly. Management included. Our government is bloated and a lot of that is too much at the top who don't do a good job.

You hear that train coming? That's the backlash against Magaland that speeding towards us.

It's crazy how history repeats itself. Like Bush, Trump is destroying everything and turning the country against Republicans despite an ineffective Democratic party.

The difference is, it's a new generation of Democrats that will be taking over the next 4 years and they aren't going to just turn the other cheek.

Dept. of Justice Fun Fact:

"President Ulysses S. Grant signed the bill into law on June 22, 1870....The Department's immediate function was to preserve civil rights. It set about fighting against domestic terrorist groups who had been using both violence and litigation to oppose the 13th, 14th, and 15th Amendments to the Constitution.[9]"
