And burning "witches" and "demon possessed" children in Africa, setting mosques on fire (often in retaliation, but still...), passing laws to commit genocide on homosexuals, actively working to prevent condom use, effectively condemning thousands to contract HIV. YOu want to see the ugly face of Christianity? Just take a look at Africa.
Christianity was a middle eastern religion. Then it became a Western religion. Now it has moved on to Sub-Saharan Africa and East Asia. In Sub-Saharan Africa Christianity is in a life and death struggle with Islam, and African Christianity is winning.
Neither of these was an organized christian attack on anyone. :failpail:
ROTFLOL... No... old enough to put you over my knee. You must be very young.
Here... have a read. The religion is stuck in the 7th century. The reasons for all this are multi-faceted and anything but simple. I don't know about you, but when I see a problem that needs fixing I want to know why that problem is there in the first place. The first step to even beginning to solve a problem with any chance of a successful outcome it to understand it inside and out. Simplistic, knee-jerk, surface skimming analysis doesn't do it for me.
They can kill each other all they want... but bring it to the west and foment their idiocy... sorry... zero tolerance. This, again, is more complicated than you both make it sound. Muslims are, have been and will continue to be the first victims of Islamic terrorism. Western deaths don't even begin to compare to the number of Muslims killed by radicals in most of the Muslim world.
The mafia isn't fully operational in Bella Italia. They at least kill their own and have a code of honor. The Russian Mafia, well.. they're barbarians. As for the inner city... well thank socialist programs... projects that made the problem. How to eradicate the problem? Fight it aggressively... but we don't see the Muslim community making a stand against the endless idiocy. Instead we have Imams fomenting the sickness.Wondering why they haven't eradicated these criminals from their midst is akin to wondering why the Mafia is still fully operational in many parts of Italy, or why inner-city gangs still control and terrorize certain neighborhoods. Nobody wants them around, obviously. So you tell me, why is it so hard to get rid of them?
Why are they so silent? Where are their leaders? They are silent.Utter rubbish. There are exceptionally good people everywhere. The Muslim world is no exception.
Edmund Burke said it as well as it can be said. Where are the good Muslim men coming forward? I'm sure our intel forces have some in their ranks, and hats off to them, but where are the vocal leaders? In CAIR? Obama's buddies.I don't see the "courageous" ones or the un-PC making the problem any better. Maybe it's time to realize that terrorism is a complex problem that isn't easy to fight. It doesn't matter how much you bomb them or avoid bombing them, how much you speak out against it or try the PC aproach, they will keep using terror anyway. Until the day they realize that it doesn't get them what they want and they get tired of fighting for nothing.
A nice attempt f slight of hand; There is a reason she wouldn't go protest and you know it.It depends. Those sorts of protests bring out the worst elements and usually turn violent. Arrests often ensue. If it's done peacefully for a change, I don't see why there would be a problem.
Both perpetrators were Christian, one leader even used the "crusade" word till Cheney shut him up.
Meanwhile, back on the topic, the bomber lived in Britain for a time, and was ejected from his local Mosque because of his extremist views.

Has Christianity reformed itself? Has Islam reformed itself? Do you know history?
I don't care who's winning. They're both revolting ideologies when taken to the extremes that are commonplace on that continent. You make it sound like Africa will be better off when the Christians take over. You obviously don't know the place very well.
When were the last child molestations by Catholic priests?
Sophistry is unattractive my dear. The priests are criminals not terrorists.
NO involvement in Afghanistan REDUCES the threat of terror. This is a fact.

And Christianity is SO much better for Africa right? Witch burnings, child witches, stonings, gay people killed. HIV up in Catholic dominated area because of their BS policy which sentences many to death
Both religions have brought poison to Africa. Both introduced by force generally from the colonials and it is sometimes beyond me why Africans so badly follow two religions which has been used as justification for their ancestors enslavement and their own inferiority as Black people to both Whites and Arabs. I suppose generations of enslavement and brainwashing has its lasting effects that is hard to remove
If I had a choice, I'd wipe both from Africa and reintroduce Africa's native beliefs before the colonials came and ****ed it all up
The Sub-Saharan Africans have adopted Christianity, imo, in order to more effectively resist the spread of Islam. Christianity gives them a systemic theology with which to resist.
Btw, I'm an atheist. If Islam wasn't threatening these Africans they probably wouldn't embrace Christianity.
I don't care what you are.
Yes you do. You care about Americans or you wouldn't try to communicate with them.
Btw, I'm an atheist.
Nice go at ignoring the rest of my post by the way with a meaningless reply that is OT

Past Papers - Herb Cohen on Negotiating and Selling
I dare say had we listened to Cohen 35-years ago, we would have less of a problem.
You see, when they get outraged about attempt and threaten to kill cartoonists, when they kill Theo van Gogh because he is making a film about them, or Pim Fortuyn when they fly planes into buildings, when they terrorize... sorry... we know their problems. It's time to stop the PC BS, and put an aggressive stop to the idiocy.
Since 911, these morons have committed 16,500 terror attacks; about 5 per day.

I don't disagree with any of that. Zero tolerance is fine by me. No one should ever give in to the demands of terrorists. I've made that pretty clear. Not giving them what they want is the best way to solve the problem. But I don't believe that fighting them in Afghanistan will help at all. It just gives them more warped excuses to keep the attacks on the West coming. Many of the terrorists that have been active the past few years have never even been to Afghanistan. I've always supported this war, unlike the Iraq one, but I honestly don't even know what we're doing there anymore.
The Mafia in both Sicily and Calabria is still a huge problem. The Russian Mafia is everywhere. Gangs are still wreaking havoc in many parts of the US. These are all much easier to identify and fight agressively than international Muslim terrorists, who are often hiding in plain sight. Still, we can't get rid of them and most often it's because the communities they operate in don't cooperate with the authorities for fear of brutal retaliation. You think the Russians mobsters are barbarians? What Muslims do to each other is even worse.
There are no clear leaders. That's one of the problems. Islam doesn't have a central authority to speak for all. I think Islam in may ways is a very private and personal religion. The Imams stand as guides in some manner, but it seems to me that the interpretation of the Koran and the spiritual journey is largely left to the individual. It comes as no surprise that many fall prey to charismatic Imams and are led down a destructive path.
You don't know that and neither do I. Only she knows if she would go protest or not. I'm certainly not going to presume to know her mind.
You're right I don't know Africans. There's one thing I do know Arcana. I know that your eyes are covered with scales. You see the world through eurocentric eyes. Eurocentrism prevents you from understanding the emotions and world views of Africans.
Just as you cannot understand Africans you cannot understand Asians either. You are trapped in a world view that is increasingly being rejected throughout the entire world.
Not fighting them, only encourages them.
The war in Afghanistan hasn't reduced the number of terrorists one iota. They've found sanctuary elsewhere. Like Yemen.
