"Blame it on the Rain! Yeah! Yeah!"

Yes, the Chinese certainly hacking ticket orders for China Joe Biden very successfully thru China's TikTok infiltration and hacking operation. After all, just electing their China Joe is $550,000,000,000.00 China's pockets from China Joe cancelling tariffs. For that reason alone a Biden win is worth over half a trillion dollars to China. Before this is over, China will have 250,000 operatives spending billions interfering with and hacking our election for their China Joe.

That will only be a foretaste of what they'll do once Grandpa is "in charge".

Like the rest of your notions. :screwy

Boston, where it was predicted it might hit, is 57 miles from Portsmouth. So Fay fizzled in NY. But no one knew it would do that until it did.

Thoughts and prayers going out to them, having to deal with the potential for 1-2 inches of rain and 30mph wind gusts.

Hopefully people had time to sandbag and board up windows.

Cuomo has killed far more grandparents than anyone and the left still sniffs his hindquarters. It really is amazing.

When Fay hit New York and New Jersey today, there was flooding, downed trees and 60 mph winds, hours of rain. If it had taken a little more easterly track, it would have hit New England. Just a tropical storm. Sure, what's the problem standing outside to listen to the Pres in that?

When you don't have new talking points replay the old ones even if they're off topic. The other MAGAts won't notice or won't care and they'll "like" your posts.
Yep, they need each other’s emotional support. I don’t blame them, it must feel awful to be incurably stupid.

It's hard to believe you're wrong when all your MAGA friends are telling you how right you are. Forget what the president said.

Were they expecting it to teleport 250 mi North to NH on Saturday?

And why not have it indoors?

I get the feeling you don't watch the weather report much. The path of storms is not entirely predictable. I live on the coast--many a time predicted storms have missed us and storms predicted to pass us by have hit like a ton of bricks.

I'm guessing attendance also had something to do with it--but saying the potential weather wasn't a factor? That's not true. If Fay had taken a slightly more easterly track, it could have been a very messy day, and probably would have been difficult for flights, as well.
Attendance, Covid fears (even the governor wouldn't go) and possibility of a nasty rainstorm.

You know why they wouldn't do it indoors. They didn't want another replay of Tulsa. Covid fears.

I have a question, though. Why does every Presidential candidate insist NH's 4 electoral votes is so important?

Except the National Weather Service - which Trump ignores anyway - and every local meteorologist... except them. (I'm talking about the timeframes when the cancellation was announced.)

Here's the problem with the Trump campaign: no one believes them. And they have no reason to, given their track record. So, if they say the sky wasn't blue, we all feel the need to check the weather. I think the real calculation had everything to do with optics (Tulsa), but they had to give Trump a non-COVID reason, so they picked the weather. Trump feels that COVID is like Russia, ands won't hear anything about it. He's like a third grader - you have to fool him into eating his vegetables by disguising them as something else.

Okay--they called the rally at 1 p.m. on Friday. I found a weather forecast from Friday and at that time, they were predicting the storm would move through New England but have cleared New Hampshire before he would speak Saturday night. So I was wrong.

It must have been attendance. People are not ready to attend super spreader events. When is he going to get that?

I would love to think this is a demonstration of Trump's dwindling support, but I'm not that optimistic. In conservative rural areas he is still popular and the recent protests and hullabaloo has hardened that support with some people. They don't get all this BLM stuff and they sure don't like the violence and destruction they see on tv. They're not going to vote for a Democrat until hell freezes over.

It was never at risk.

And the weather today is... well...pretty perfect.

But when you can’t get anyone to show because they’re pissed you’ve killed their grandparents, ya gotta scrap the rally.

I didn't know the governor of NY was having a rally in New Hampshire. Or was the governor of PA. It is hard to keep up with all these democrat governors killing our loved ones in nursing homes.

Thanks for the acknowledgment (regarding the forecast). That really is a breath of fresh air (no pun intended). People tend to get locked into "I'm right" (I even get there sometimes). Brava.

I happen to agree with your assessment of the hardening support among the most die-hard of the supporters, but that equates to about 33%. Among the "persuadables", his numbers have absolutely crashed. There is a swath of people who "don't get" BLM - or WON'T get, I would argue - but... hell is getting downright chilly. I certainly wouldn't "call" it, but I'm hopeful.

Someone made a hard right traveling north on the turnpike....

Well, it appears that the TikTok and K-Pop crowd were well on their way to try to repeat the Tulsa event (boston.com). But it appears that the Trump team is sending out mixed messages; on one hand they are telling they us they they are cross-checking the phone numbers against registered GOP and anyone who doesn't match won't be let in....and at the same time, they said that the event is a general admission event, where it is first come, first serve. So...which is it?

And...they Trump campaign was also recommending that attendees wear masks and social distance. So...the Trump administration seems to take COVID-19 seriously, even though Trump isn't. Again, more mixed messages.

Finally, they admitted that the even was starting to look a little thin...but they weren't blaming the weather for that, BTW...they blamed COVID-19. Yet another mixed message.

Pissed off you can't bitch about Trump having a rally, are you?

That was...a sad response.

People aren't bitching about if he has a rally or not...they are bitching about his lack of competence over these rallies and how they may increase COVID-19 cases. In other words...we are glad they aren't happening! It means that at least this even won't provide more cases of COVID-19!!!

So, we win because his supporters won't get sick. We win because according to Boston.com his campaign was more worried about people not attending because of COVID-19 than the storm, which means they are finally starting to this stuff seriously.

And if Trump DID have the rally, it sounds like it still may not be well attended for the COVID-19 reason. While I don't like the idea of more people catching it at his rally, at least we can still show a sad turnout. Personally, I prefer the cancellation to avoid further infections.

And that is going to be cross for his campaign to bear...how many more will they have to cancel? How badly will that affect him?

Finally, if you even have to wonder why we won't ever believe statements coming out of the White House about any of this, or at the very least treat such statements with heavy skepticism, is because Trump and many in his administration are liars and have been this entire time. At some point, you just cannot take what they say at face value. And outside his band of his supporters, the rest of the world is at this point.

Don't gather in crowds during a pandemic.

Looks like Trump cancelled his New Hampshire (i.e. 8pm tonight) rally at the last minute.

His excuse?: Rain.

The forecast for the NH Airport today?: Morning rains ending by noon, 78 degrees and Sunny by 8pm tonight!

:lamo

Me thinks the Trumpsters just realized that they were about to have another embarrassing half-filled rally.:lamo

Trump held his first re-election rally on February 18, 2017, less than a month into his term. He never got around to governing and isn't even pretending to have a second term agenda: his entire presidency is just a series of rallies, plus some self-dealing golfing excursions.

If he can't even pull together a crowd for a rally anymore (public health blessing that his failure to do so is), what even is this 'presidency' now?

One hell bent on killing another 100,000 Americans while there’s still time.

In all fairness, they weren't sure how much of this storm we were going to get here in the northeast and when? So while it may have been canceled because of what you suggest, it might also have been the storm.

Again...Forecast said: 78 degrees and sunny. I'm sure meteorologists were as aware of the east coast storm as you were.

Not sure what you're argument is, here.

It's been a mad dash to effect a broad "white grievance" agenda, from the very beginning.

The goal has been "Do as much to dismantle and destabilize bedrock institutions, standards of decency and Constitutional norms as humanly possible...while we can."

In several ways, they have been successful.
