in general, those individuals should vote for people that earned their vote and wont do things that harm their prosperity and equality in America

if there happens to be a group of individuals out there that are voting for the other guy then its that person/pary's duty to figure out why and go get those votes by DELIVERING RESULTS to inspire those votes and not empty promises.

I do not think it is a bad idea. If one Party takes your vote for granted and just does the bare minimum to serve your individual (as well as community's) interests in order to get you to come to the polls for them (if that) and the other party presumes that you will never vote for them so that they forgo outreach, suddenly taking your votes to the opposing party could spur a sea change in laying out policy.

There are some blacks best served by still voting dem. But there are many who are better served voting GOP. and if blacks were "harder to get" then maybe the Dems would do more for them. And if they were willing to vote for the GOP in some cases, maybe the GOP wouldn't-in many cases-write them off

so if the Dems are so good for blacks, why are blacks constantly complaining about how bad things are, and that they need affirmative action etc? By being too easy for the Dems to get 90% of the black vote, the Dems don't really have to do much to win them over.

what I am looking forward to is the conflict that invariably will take place when some Dem districts see Latinos as the dominant Dem voting bloc-resenting the "most favored minority" label remaining with the blacks. It has already started happening in some areas where Latinos resent the Dems giving nominations and political patronage jobs to blacks instead of latinos, even though the Latinos are supplying more votes to the Dems

You know one of the restaurants that will serve you cold unseasoned oatmeal for a dollar (because they can get away with it), because it is common knowledge that the other restaurant might serve you nothing because they have had exceedingly few customers in decades and neither you or they are sure what they have in the larder at any given time. Whatever they have, they will prepare for you for a dollar, but you have to pay in advance for them to look even if there is nothing there. With that in mind, which would you choose? The restaurant that provides certain if somewhat miserable sustenance, or the one where you might get anything or absolutely nothing at all?

Well i do have to admit if some major shake up was to happen to try and get congress critters to wake up for one voting cycle, RIGHT NOW, THIS would be the better and safer mover by a 1000 mils for individuals/america than all blacks voting for the GOP .
