About 150 protesters blocked traffic in front of St. Patrick’s Cathedral early on New Year’s Day — and someone marred the facade of the church with graffiti during the demonstration, according to cops.

The protesters, affiliated with Black Lives Matter Brooklyn and Justice for George, started marching at the Stonewall Inn and had stopped at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, police sources said.

While inspecting the scene, cops found the letters “ACAB” — which stands for “All cops are bastards” — newly graffitied in pink, about 2 feet by 4 feet, on the facade of the cathedral, police said.

I would be VERY CURIOUS as to what the leftist "Black Lives Matter" supporters on this forum feel about the article above? The silence here seems to be deafening.

Chuck, "Can you hear me, now?"

It'll be fun to watch our resident Trump haters ignore this in the years to come...just like they've tried to ignore this in the past years.

Petty criminals gotta act out because they can not control themselves. Vandalism and property damage will become the new accepted norm in Biden’s America.

IMO, I think the left's hesitancy to condemn acts like these comes down to their near paralytic fear of being labeled a racist by their own standard. They are so quick to ascribe racism as a motivation for opposition to their favored policies, they just don't want to risk being painted with the same brush.

Can you imagine their outcry if an alt-right group defaced a prominent civil rights monument?

I don't believe for a nanosecond that all cops are illegitimate children. Some pinko has some splainin' to do.

NY Post is a conservative rag owned by Rupert Murdoch.

Post some supporting articles by respected media sources.

I always like to ask "What SPECIFIC media sources do you feel are respected"?

Also, are you saying that the OP article is not true and that "Black Lives Matter" "protesters" did not have their hands in this vandalism?!? You must realize that the NYPD officials are quoted in the article.

So what? This is a breaking news story, and you apparently have nothing to say about the news. If you thought the NY Post's story was in error, I'm sure you would have leaped on the inaccuracies, but instead you're just shooting the messenger for no reason other than that you can't argue the facts but feel the need to say something, anything.

Is there any reason why anyone should care? No one was hurt. The graffiti is easily removed. Whats the big deal?

If you don't instinctively understand what's wrong with vandalizing, I doubt that there is anything I could say that would illuminate what the "big deal" is. But if the crime were robbery, would you be posting what you have here? That nobody was hurt and the store owner can always make more money, so what's the big deal?

Yes. I don't do Twitter nor Facebook. Post a YouTube link.
What makes a youtube video any more credible than a twitter or facebook video?

I'm thinking Starbucks in Portland thinks it's a big deal when their shop gets trashed.

Those "bastards" are the only thing that stands between us potential victims and those horrible folks who glorify violence and then have the audacity to complain about police violence!

I said nothing about credibility in that regard. Have fun.

Depends on what was robbed and how. Did some kids pocket some candy from a convinence store? Big deal. And that isn't to say anyone here thinks vandalism or petty theft is ok just that we aren't going to lose our shit over it and start predicting the fall of democracy and society like we're chicken shit white wingers.

I'm sorry that you think that commenting on a breaking news story about a church being vandalized means somehow that those who comment are "losing their shit." If you think that vandalizing a church is the same as a kid swiping candy from a convenience store, I have to wonder how your trivialize other acts against property and person. But you do you....
