Billions coming to your state for infrastructure? Is so, your republican representatives probably voted against the infrastructure bill.

So we are to thank them for confiscating a percentage of our earnings and giving some of it back to us in the form of infrastructure spending. That warped sense of gratitude is the product of a very successful sales job.

I stand to gain more from infrastructure spending than I got for the money they took and gave back in the form of tax cuts.
 
if you're a small business owner who supplies services to larger companies in your area can ask a favor of you?

if you're against the Infrastructure bill and your customers get contracts can you please drop them as customers? we don't want that money to filter down to you.

Sausage isn't made on faith, but I haven't seen any bad faith myself. What are you referring to?

Infrastructure used to be a bi-partisan process. Still is; Biden did a good job getting 13 Republicans. Did an end-around AOC. Lol.

The BBB bill is a different set of spending. I don't know about good faith, but the progressives blundered in holding the infrastructure bill hostage. Biden sorted it out, but I'm afraid he's still leaning toward the progressive side. Pre-K and child care subsidies are smart investments. Paid leave is unclear to me, and although I don't oppose new parents spending time with their newborns, what about those of us who aren't new parents, or those who can't be parents or choose not to? Is this supposed to incentivize the birth rate?

That was pure ignorance.. I COULD reflect all day long why armed citizens alone is not enough to secure the freedoms we so have come to enjoy, and in your case take for granted. I imagine 9-11 all over again, but without any formidable response, . I too wish however that we will never need to use a fraction of it, but I remain greatful that we have it.

I'm pretty sure our great governor Nuisance will spend whatever he gets on the typical lib garbage. Hotel rooms for bums, free stuff for illegal aliens, public transportation projects nobody uses.....Welcome to California!

You think not what? You think not that the government is wasteful? You think not that politicians are corrupt?... by supplying syringes,they are keeping them addicts, how is it helping them?
 
Don't you wish there were some way to track all the people that screamed about this bill and then won contracts and tons of money because of it?

And of course all of the vendors for those companies who will also profit.

And of course the communities and politicians who will also profit or have more money for their communities.

Well you see, I am not in the liberal circle jerk that is the overwhelming majority of the board. I also don't do many drive by one liners that substitutes snark for content. Your rhetoric is liberal assholery disguised as commentary. Its worthless and contributes less than nothing.

The original bill was full of things Republicans were never going to vote for. They were talking points, not honest attempts to pass a spending bill. That's acting in bad faith.
