latest show 10/03 had him pointing out the members on The View never uttered one word on the Jimmy Kimmel suspension all five days. He showed on Friday a clip of Whoopie saying "We won't be silenced." He said "you have silenced yourselves." I love Maher's very justified attacks on the dems when they deserve them. I'm a conservative but I hate Trump and all that he says and does but like Maher. I hate the phony crap that comes out of the mouths of some liberals.

Didn't particularly like his take. Essentially blaming woman for where we're at in this country at the moment.

Here's his new rules segment. Women need to be tougher? Using Harris and Whitmer to support his conclusions.

Why the eyeroll? Women aren't tough enough is a ridiculous take and using Harris, Whitmer, and the View woman as evidence supporting his arguments is suspect at the very least.

He isn't even remotely conservative.
He just looks like it, because he didn't go batshit crazy like the rest of the party did.
I was proposing a strategy to make it easier for him to reach an adoring audience.

Because he now has more in common with conservatives than liberals.
Not because he moved right, which he did not. He is the same liberal he was 20 years ago.
It was his party that moved so far left, that he is actually close to the right then he is with them.

No I am not debating an argument that isn't based on reality, to do so, would be to agree that your absurd narrative has any validity
My narrative? Gave my opinion on his segment. He doesn't even connect most of it to his conclusions. Says how successful women have become, praising them, then rails against Harris, Whitmer, and women on the View.

Look, I posted his segment to allow people to come to their own conclusions. Gave my opinion so will leave it here.

The women's failure to even mention it tells me there were scared into silence by ABC because of the rumor they were next on the chopping block. To me that makes them cowards

He's currently the darling of the right. Might as well save them some annoying channel changes. Have they put someone permanent in tuck tuck's slot yet?

Ok, my point is why single out women on the View? Or women at all? You don't think any men stayed silent?

Just an odd take overall. It's like he used praise for women as a shield for criticisms of women, specifically the ones he called out. Beginning to think he has some insecurities regarding women. He's mentioned he had a problem getting laid in college. Honesty don't know.

Of course he is.
Why? Because we like people who have the courage to speak for themselves and not the hive.
Go to any mostly conservative forum, if it wasn't against the rules I could give you a few links - and you will not find an echo chamber like here and other mostly left forums. You guys never-ever speak out against your own. FFS - nearly the entire left half the nation would not say Biden was in cognitive decline - would not do it!
Maher deserves a freaking Emmy, not dumbass Kimmel. Because Bill has the guts to say what he believes.
And you all - HATE THAT.

I've been on "conservative forums," and probably longer than you. This forum is not an echo chamber. Anyway, enjoy Bill. I hope that he moves to faux to save your clicking finger some work.

This forum is a massive echo chamber, only deviation from that is people like me who are conservatives.
And no, not longer than me. I have been on forums since the mid 90s when they were BBS boards. I admin'd a board 3 times the size of this one from 2004-2010.
Conservatives argue all the time about politics. Liberals enthusiastically parrot anything they are told.

I have been on echo chambers before, both right and left wing. I watched "conservatives" engage in a mass banning campaign because the owner didn't like a Republican political candidate. That wasn't "arguing." I bounced shortly after that and moved on to new forums and new handles. I'm not big on echo chambers, but unlike you, I know what is and what isn't one.

He singled out the show because of the hard core left by three of them and isn't odd not one from the group spoke out? Not one in five days on a topic that was covered everywhere day and night. There worst one is the lawyer she is left of Lenin and the red head is close behind. Whoopi is just not intelligent.

Don't really care about the View or if members deserve criticism for not addressing. Just saying Bill calling out women in his new rules segment was odd and don't agree somehow women need to be tougher.

See no reason to make comparisons of men and women in how they responded to Kimmel or need to throw shade on women like Harris or Whitmer just because they're women. Have criticism of Harris, but has nothing to do with the fact she's female.
