The Mueller dud.

Yes, the fact that a presidential candidate could encourage a foreign adversary with whom he was conducting business to corrupt our electoral process, meet with them, lie about it and encourage witnesses to refuse to cooperate with a federal investigation on it, and so many Americans say it is nothing, is certainly the biggest story of 2019. And that was just the beginning of his electoral corruption.

Word up: Communists don't care about electoral process.

they don't care.

if anything is blatantly obvious now it's that Trump supporters both love and encourage his corruption.

Mueller shattered a lot of liberal hearts by not finding anything. The press invested a lot of time into pumping that thing up.

Didn't know you were a communist, now we do. Thank you for providing that tidbit of information about yourself.

People really should read the Mueller report.

Any other Presidency would have been ended by it.

For some reason, the GOP has thrown their lot in with someone as venal and dangerously unfit as Trump.

That is the real surprise of this period in history.

You don't understand communism. There is authoritarian communism, and libertarian communism. Authoritarianism is the primary issue here, not communism.

Anyone who has bucked the propaganda campaign against anything "marx" would understand that.

Any other presidency would have been ended by a PLETHORA of issues perpetrated by Donald John Trump. However, the right wing is in a real bind. The established politicians of the right wing can't go against the voters or they will be utterly eviscerated. So they buck at the democrats, instead.

The problem for republicans is DECADES of propaganda has created a consituency of the most undeserving, insane voters this side of the sun; unleashed, unhinged; they literally do not understand economics, forms of government, jurisprudence, none of it. All useful rubes to spit out fox news propaganda.

Since the left is against the electoral process, they're all Communists.

That's no ****, I'm sure Putin could care less about OUR "electoral process" and has no compunction or hesitation to disrupt it, bend it to his purpose and **** on it anyway he can in hopes of causing as much dissention and divisiveness in OUR country as he can. Worked splendidly for him in 16 and I'm sure he and his henchmen will be at it, full force, again in 20. Especially since tRump/McConnell are doing everything they can to block any remedies to foreign intervention in OUR elections.

I'm talking about the Commies right here in this country who have been bitching about the electoral process since Trump's election.

The whole Russia thing is part of the coup attempt by the same people. You support it, you are a traitor.

The left is against the electoral college. Not the electoral process. Please do not misrepresent the system here.

Maybe in your fantasy world...

Yes, you're misrepresenting it. Most leftists are against the EC and prefer a more democratic process. That doesn't mean they reject our entire system.

Generalizations are all you have left.

What the Left wants is NO RIGHT. Too bad.

What the Left wants is NO RIGHT. Too bad.

And what the right wants is NO LEFT. Too bad.

See we can tit for tat all day, gets neither of us anywhere; all I'm asking is for you to drop the generalizations.

We'll have to agree that political parties are not a good thing. The Founders thought so.

I do agree political parties are not a good thing. I think they should be entirely disavowed.

IF you read it, and got what you say you got, go back to your seventh grade teacher and slap her for failing to teach you reading comprehension.

Nah... I read it.

What the story tells is a that Trump was working to have a real estate deal in Moscow while keeping it hidden during his Presidential campaign. He eve went as far as to sign a letter of intent with a Russian bank that was under US sanctions. Let us dwell on that one for a moment. Think if it was known during the campaign that a Presidential candidate went as far as to make an agreement to work with a foreign owned entity that would go against the sanctions of the country that he is seeking to lead.

That one should have been enough.

But it goes on.

The same country that then Candidate Trump was seeking to work with for a real estate deal was simultaneously working to undermine the US election system. His campaign was working really hard to make contacts with that hostile power in order to obtain stolen information in order to effect the upcoming election. Through stupidity and bad luck, they failed. But the thing is that they tried really hard to do so. Them failing is the only reason that a lot more people are not going to jail.

That act of trying to work with a hostile foreign power should have been enough.

But it goes on.

After the failure to work with the foreign government, and winning the election, then the President worked to cover up and interfere with the investigation, in what is spelled out as several counts of potential obstruction of justice charges.

That also should have been enough.

But for some reason, the GOP and the Right Wing Entertainment complex has thrown their lot in with a man who is venal and dangerously inadequate to be the President.

Things that used to be considered universally bad are now acceptable.

That is where we are now I guess.

Big talk, I guarantee you wouldn't say that to my face; you attack fellow PATRIOTIC AmeriCANs in support of the criminal in OUR White House. The only commies you need to worry about are buddies of tRump. You've been duped, and the only coup that's being attempted is the one to make tRump an imperil president that answers only to his oligarch masters.

If you want to worry about traitors worry about Don Vito tRump.

10 years from now no one will remember the Mueller report or the Ukraine phone call.

What is the story that still will have the biggest impact a decade from now? Hard to say.

Brexit is certainly big. It toppled the establishment Tories and brought in the Populists.

Maybe the China tariffs or the HK protests? There's a new cold war coming and China is going to become more an adversary than a economic partner.
