Biden/Trump polling difference between now and before the 2020 election

Fox News has a new poll out today. They've only released some of the questions tonight and I expect they'll release the full poll tomorrow. But they've been discussing it all afternoon and showing some graphics of the results. They've mentioned the poll contains quite a bit of bad news for Biden. As an example of why, here is one graphic they've displayed a few times today.

Women - Biden -11, Trump +10
Black voters - Biden -10, Trump +7

I don't know if you follow Fox polls regularly but compared to all the polls RCP tracks, Fox polls are often among the more favorable to Biden.

I don’t see Trump escaping his criminality to win an election.

Especially when he’s a proven loser with a terrible track record at winning elections.

Trump is facing 91 criminal charges.

Whatever the numbers say today is kind of irrelevant because they are going to change a lot.

If Trump is +2 one week and Biden is +1 the next week, it’s pretty insignificant. We know their polling in a dead heat.

We can also say Trump is likely going to be convicted on felony charges by the time November rolls around. At the very least on trial for them.

Yes, I've seen that. But notice what it says right at the top of your link. They are reserving some of the questions for a later release. The info I posted in the OP isn't included in tonight's partial release. I'm thinking we might see the more interesting questions released tomorrow.

I think it was the very interesting/newsworthy CNN poll from a week or so ago, where the same tactic was used. I think that's maybe done to keep interest on their polls for a bit longer?

As far as polls being irrelevant now, maybe. But I think Dems are growing increasingly worried about Biden's ability to win and that's happening quite quickly with a pile on in recent days. I'm assuming the polling is a big contributor to their growing concerns so I don't think everyone on the left is sincerely thinking recent polling is irrelevant.

You have to understand fox wants ratings and if they produce a biden +8 poll now ratings suffer. The economy is far better now than it was in 2022 when trump led the reps to disaster.

That Biden is just not doing at all well right now - in the minds of American voters. This polling is showing what other recent polling has also shown. I think that's why media, which is typically very supportive and protective of Biden, is suddenly and rather strongly turning on him (voicing serious concerns about his ability to win).

I think their polling has been and still is being fair to Biden. This poll is consistent with many other recent polls. For now (and actually for some time now), Biden is not polling at all well!
