Biden to call out Trump's 'singular responsibility' for Jan. 6 attacks

I had to walk away from the TV when I heard Harris talk about lawlessness... the nerve with how this country is on fire with lawless big dem run cities!!

For me personally it's not about biden's performance, it's about folks like you and your views getting into power. I personally will vote against any version of people who think like you. Who controls america is much more important to me than biden's performance one year into his presidency with every trump supporter in the country against him.
Oh, by the way, tell me how I think and tell me what party benefits the most by creating dependence. Why does it bother you so much promoting personal responsibility and programs that take power away from the bureaucrats? Where is the liberal responsibility today for the attacks all over the nation? Where is the unifying rhetoric and programs from Biden that were promised?

So what you are saying is that results don't matter, people accepting personal responsibility doesn't matter but what does matter is feel good rhetoric that destroys incentive and creates dependence?

Isn't that obvious?

It's a very good speech... Did you see Karl Rove's editorial this morning?

It is a good editorial. I'm surprised Rove wrote it. Here is the last paragraph, "We Republicans have a heavier burden. I’ve been a Republican my entire life, and believe in what the Republican Party, at its best, has represented for decades. There can be no soft-pedaling what happened and no absolution for those who planned, encouraged and aided the attempt to overthrow our democracy. Love of country demands nothing less. That’s true patriotism."

It's actually funny as hell. Because last year during the most destructive riots and widespread lawlessness in fifty years, Kamala Harris was helping bail out rioters and cheering on the rioting on national television.

But liberals are blind to thier own hypocrisy

A strong case can be made for Trump being singularly responsible for inciting that riot, but to declare him "singularly responsible" full stop implies those that decided to break the law and jump the barricade that day were somehow not responsible for their actions. Ah, no. Regarding Jan 6, hold all who did wrong to account.

Or that he is using singular in the sense of "exceptionally good or great; remarkable."

As the figurehead of the movement his responsibility was unique, to whatever extent it exists.

Of course we do, how low do you think Biden poll numbers can go? What metric are you going to use or does it matter to evaluate Biden performance?

It could go to zero (perfectly obviously) but a poll isn't performance, either.

His COVID messaging is much better, even with the variants and changes and uncertainty.

I don't think I've ever heard him argue with a doctor on television. It's refreshing!

That said, I must admit I check out Trump's News page a few times a week to top up on crazy juice.

There's a lot of deflections coming from the right. What happened to personal responsibility? Really trying to throw that one to the ground to deflect away from the 1/6 Seditionists and Trump's hand in inspiring the violence that day.

Buyers remorse is on display here and across the nation, keep ignoring that reality and keep running from the questions posed to you as to why you still support Biden today and helped put him into the WH?

No buyer's remorse. The more I see and hear things from supporters in Congress like Gosar or MTGreene, I am more comfortable in my choice in voting.

Why do you want to suppress my vote?

As far as running from questions. When you ask questions pertinent to the thread they are answered. Questions that are derails or changes the subject are ignored at times. Does this mean you will start to give direct answers to questions asked of you?

What about Joe Biden and Kamala Harris inciting an attack on the town of Kenosha Wisconsin by lying intentionally about the circumstances of a police shooting?

Since we're talking about"inspiring violence" and all

Biggest deflection is coming from the Dems using Jan. 6th as the reason people should vote Democrat. They ain't got nuthin else!

You have heard of the term, charity, right? How much of that amazing stock market performance is getting to those charities?

How much of that charity is reaching the poor and homeless? Not much in Texas...

What are you referring to?

IMO you missed a direct and necessary speech from Biden. I suggest you take a look.
When timber fallers pound a wedge all the way in and the tree doesn't tip over they get two more wedges and sandwich them together and pound those in to finish the job. That is effectively what Biden - Harris did to America today.

Throw up some footage of them chanting "Hang Harris!" and smashing windows with Biden flagpoles, and I'll hear you out.

Divided we fall...

Someone should also point out Joe Biden promoting the insurrection at the Portland courthouse and the instigation of the riots in Kenosha
Yeah. In another thread created for such topic.

Go make a thread. Why is your only answer to the 1/6 Sedition a deflection?

lol

It's telling that so many of our conservative friends find the truth to be divisive and harming America.

It's fine. If you wait until tonight I am sure your favorite Fox propagandists, many of whom were also privately worried about the Capitol insurrection, will spoon feed you more lies.

Because Big Steve V2.0 is only here to make trolling posts.

No, it's a warning of how far the Trump Cult Commies will go to undermine democracy and install their Dear Leader. It's a lesson to the rest of the nation. If the Republicans want to embrace this form of communism, that's on them. In which case, yes don't vote Republican; not if they're going to hide, defend, or excuse these seditionists.

No, because it ever happened. How did he try to overthrow the election? And I thought you guys are claiming he tried to overthrow the government? Which is it?
I live for the day when the sleazy orange man POS goes down and he will. The shady real estate mogul has been committing felonies all of his life and getting with it. I hate
his immorality and the effect he's had on our nation especially our youngsters.

Despicable human being.

Jakob Blake was shot by the Kenosha Wisconsin police while in the process of stealing a car and kidnapping two children, fighting with the police armed with a knife, resisting arrest for a felony sexual assault and domestic violence warrant.

Kamala Harris called him a hero and claimed he was "another innocent black man murdered by white police officers". Which was a blatant lie.

Joe Biden out s similar set of statements

"Equal justice has not been real for Black Americans and so many others," the statement continues. "We are at an inflection point. We must dismantle systemic racism. It is the urgent task before us. We must fight to honor the ideals laid in the original American promise, which we are yet to attain: That all men and women are created equal, but more importantly that they must be treated equally."- Joe Biden.

They lied. Intentionally. Right after a summer of the most destructive riots in a half century, they lied and misconstrued the facts of the shooting to incite violence and chaos because they thought it would benefit them politically.

They did, exactly what they say Trump did on Jan 6.

Exactly the same thing.

Oh yeah! It's "Insurrection Day". Let's all celebrate. First up on the festivities of today's National Holiday is -- drum roll please -- Orange man is a bad, bad, man!

Well...yeah. He IS bad. On a personal and a presidential level.
