But this is different. LOL!!
 
Trump isn't facing trouble for having the documents. He is facing trouble for not dealing with the situation in the same way that Biden did. If Trump had just cooperated with the records administration when they first started talking a year or so prior, there wouldn't even be a story. Instead, Trump appears to have lied, delayed, deliberately mislead, and been seriously negligent. None of those descriptors appear to be involved with the Biden documents. If anything, the Biden example shows how badly Trump decided his own fate by being a narcissistic idiot.

Except it's not the same thing. Right wingers so eager to say so, simply betray that all this time they've been secretly concerned about Trump's deliberately with-holding documents after he was President.

Now you can change your line from "what Trump did is perfectly legal" which you've never been comfortable with, to "Biden did the same or worse" which fits your attack-is-better-than-defense mindset much better.

The speculation is that Biden was keeping the stuff hidden away as protection material in the event Obama turned his weaponized executive branch against him.

The way I understand it, Biden took the papers to provide protection from the deep state, and to give him leverage in case Kamala decided to 25th him over Hunter's laptop.
When you read it with one eye closed it makes perfect sense. Maybe I can get a job at Gateway pundit!
