I don't like the fact she handles Joe to the extreme. but then everyone does
She's his wife of many years for crissake, she's not his handler. WTF is wrong with you people? Nancy Reagan and Roselyn Carter among others were very involved in their husband's presidency. That's the way most NORMAL family interact. Not like Donny who's wife can't hide her destain for him whenever he's near her. Enough with your nonsense.

We sure did see a lot of HER butt....and we can look at those photos anytime we want....

No point in arguing over perception further

Oh, be still, my wildly-beating heart!

Our male poster @anatta has just used the c-word ("CATTY") against me....

Will I ever manage to type another post? Or will I slink away, in shame, at having been outed as being....."catty"?
guys can gossip and be cliquish as well as or better then women.
guys might have the advantage of ability to displace energy easier then women. *dunno*
Gossip requires a replacement outlet if you dont pass it on. It's better to stay out of it...lol

But no, Joe wanted to stay in, but ultimately gave up his personal ambition for the good of the country. He will remain high on the list of US Presidents.

IMO, he was forced out by his own party. He should rank high for his administration; if he ranks high for leaving the race for the good of the country, I think that is an exaggeration, but of course everyone (figuratively) will agree on it. He tried to stay in and found the opposition by his own party meant he had little chance to win.

Biden Planned to Hand the Campaign over to Kamala All Along:

What do you think?

Yes or No?

It's a hard choice folks, I think he buckled instead.

Reminds me of that Progressive commercial, "It was me all along."

The likely correct answer isn't present.

I would figure that he meant what he said when he said it. He went into this as a bridge candidate for one term. I also think he is a human being, so when he said that I knew it was highly likely he'd run for a second term if he could. Said so publicly at the time.

I also think he meant it when he stated that his running for the second term was because he honestly believed there were things yet to get done and he thought he was the person best suited to complete them. Whether that is true or just his rationalizing though I couldn't say.

What I do know is that Biden being a human being, susceptible to all the emotions and head tricks human can do to themselves, he came to a crossroads and put his self behind what he came to know was what was right to do, and did that. That isn't easy. He deserved credit for it. I hope we give it to him.

Well, SOMEONE planned on handing the campaign to someone else all along...but it wasn't the puppet.
Exactly! The DNC knew the talent pool bench was very weak and their best shot in 2024 was Harris and playing the race and gender baiting cards. They also knew Super Kamala! wouldn't survive another debate, especially after her fateful 2020 debate, so they had to keep Joe around until it was too late to have a real primary and just install Harris to save democracy. The real question is: did the DNC know this in 2020 and forced Joe to accept Harris as VP just for this occasion? Did the DNC begin to throw their weight behind Biden only when Harris bombed out, hoping to trojan horse her at the last minute in 2024? We all know the DNC plays extremely dirty, just ask Sanders. Democrats have been convinced by their own propaganda to think Trump is a threat to democracy when the real threat to democracy is their own party.

Ah, more of that "critical thinking"....

Oh, they knew what they were doing...even back in 2020.

moot point. But BIden should resign, he's not capable of the day to day runnings of the job
I know, him freeing those people trapped in Russia was just awful!

His willingness to take on SCOTUS corruption proves his infirmity!

The next thing that proves he is incapable of the job might just well be a willingness to release FEMA resources for Florida and South Georgia!

(sarcasm)

Only Republicans care and I know if I were a Republican, I would be outraged.

Back in two thousand and twenty when the Democrats defeated trump with a senile old man sitting in his basement while trump held rally after rally? That 2020?

Trump isn’t capable. He should withdraw.

He's not going to do it on steak dinner.

Watching my dad have chopped liver.

I won't give them the propensity.

I don't know, I'd stick to the astrology, but we could postulate that the Misfit is going for an upset do to extruding circumstances, namely Biden's age and Trump's destructiveness.

Too bad, we don't get to see, "Strongman Rules America," and subdues the world before he screws up, they screw up right away, I can't even imagine. Just for some bully to pound some heads around the globe. I consider it a risk to Democracy, and I have no reason to take that risk, but if he wins and they hand over to him we'll see the flick. Look he's friends with the Antichrist. Glorifies him, what does he think he is, the False Prophet? No, he's Gregor MacGregor, howdy doody.

Too much chopped liver, he should have gone out and found himself the stuff.

If this was orchestrated, it was a master stroke! What a version of the rope-a-dope!
The whole trick to a successful con, is for the victim not to know he has been played……

I think the decision was entirely made after his poor debate performance and in light of his sagging polls.

Sure there might have been a backup plan to endorse Harris if his health suddenly failed, but it took internal and external pressure to force him to do it anyway.

It wasnt an easy decision either as it took a couple of weeks. His sense of duty and yes, pride held him back. It was the right choice as it turns out.
