Biden needs to authorize military to save stranded Americans in Afghanistan, Crenshaw says

This is what I don't understand, and this is what the MSM is severely downplaying.

Americans in Afghanistan had several months notice that we were pulling out. Months.

The ones who chose to stay are as dumb as those who didn't get the vaccine and then got the virus.

I suppose the Biden panty sniffers are fine with a few American casualties. And if they're just beaten, that's even better. No big loss to them.

To be fair, most smart people wouldn't have trusted Biden to run an "orderly, safe evacuation" or that the Taliban taking over was "Highly unlikely, as he stated, but stupid Americans should be protected, even the thousands dumb enough to trust that this would be handled competently.

WSJ reports talking with American journalists, contractors and aid workers... so not exactly tourists who were just slumming it and didn't have the scratch to leave.

The only thing that Biden can be rightfully blamed for is overestimating how much of a fight the Afghan forces would put up, which was about none. That's it.

Americans who are suddenly trying to get out of Afghanistan now are like COVID-19 positive people who are just now trying to get the vaccine. They were warned!

Well, some people believed it when told Covid wasn't a big deal. Others believed when told they would be evacuated safely before the Taliban got there. You do have a point, people that believe habitual liars are usually not the brightest.

I'm still for saving them.

Really? Did the Taliban turn tail and flee from the marines during the 20 years of NATO failures in Afghanistan? No, it's NATO forces who are doing the running away. Furthermore why were heavily armed and well-trained soldiers evacuated before unarmed and helpless civilians? The entire exercise has been a cluster**** from start to finish.

Are they? While the Taliban are controlling access to the airport nobody is free to leave unless the Taliban say so-and I trust the Taliban's promises to allow civilians to leave about as much as I trust Trump to tell the truth.
