Maybe we should increase our education level so people are qualified to do more than service jobs. Those lifetime unions jobs that only needed an HS diploma are long gone and they aren't coming back. People need a 2-year tech or vocational degree for good jobs and maybe people can't afford it, so help them with subsidized higher education as other countries do instead id trying them down with a lifetime of student loan debt to get a better job.
