In his nearly first two months Biden has signed around 4 dozen EOs. That is more than the last 3 presidents combined in their first 2 months. He has done this with no Congressional input. He has done that behind a huge fence with armed guards all around. That people sound like a dictator to me.

Nearly all of those EO's were rescinding EO's signed by Trump. That means they cancel out.

You have no clue what a dictator is, mr Trumplover...

Which themselves rescinded things Obama did, and none of which sought "congressional input". But, what can you do? You know the kind of posts this guy makes....

Surprised you are the one to make this point but kudos to you for being objective.

Heres the rub for me about Bidens EOs and I lay this criticism squarely at the feet of the right. When Trump did it, progressives made legal challenges against them. The courts then ruledthat a sitting potus could not arribitraily recind the previous potus"s EOs. The courts required that they agree with why the order was being changed. As far as I know, no conservatives have legally challenged any EO he has signed. It kinda makes their bitching a moot point for me.

I mean, more or less by definition, you don't seek congressional input for an executive order. It's mainly how a president gets an agency under his purview to make/change policy. The agency has to follow the APA, so the president can't simply order a whole policy into existence; he can only tell his agency to start the process that will ultimately result in the policy he wants.

And it is simple fact that Trump openly came in to undo Obama's EOs, and Biden openly came in to undo Trump's EOs. If someone wants to get mad, they should get mad about whatever policy results.

Getting mad about EOs or the number the president has issued is pretty damn stupid if one looks at the history of these things.

Like I say, with the rise of executive agencies carrying out functions congress simply doesn't have the capacity to and the passage of the Administrative Procedure Act, executive orders are how a president starts the ball rolling on policy implementation. (This is why Trump's attempt to end DACA failed: his EO was fine, but DHS didn't follow the APA in rescinding the memo that established DACA, so the court said bad DHS, try again. Then Trump ran out of time).

Without some unimaginable and drastic rewrite of the fundamental structure of American government, they aren't going anywhere. Nor, am I convinced, should they. The problem is what some presidents put in them, not that they exist (well, unless someone is such a big Libertarian that they might as well be an anarchist, in which case they're going to be mad that executive agencies exist in the first place).

maybe they secretly want to see Trump's EOs rescinded (correct spelling)
after all, both the Dems and Repubs are part of the Illuminati

Coming out with all his insane EOs has been done behind a huge fence with barbed wired and with armed guards outside. Sounds and looks just like the old USSR!!!!!!!!!!!

When Trump signed his EO's did the White House have no fences or armed guards? How about when your God Reagan was in office?

If it was constitutionally permissible for Trump to do it then they should not be a judicial objection to undoing it via the same EO issued by Joesph Biden

If Trump wanted to govern by executive orders then Biden will likewise repeal everything that Trump did via EOs with EOs of his own.
