Biden Had Nothing To Do With Prisoner Exchange

And yet you want a sex offender, a fraudster, and a convicted felon 34 times over as your president.
Is that how you plan to reverse the moral decline here?

No, I don't. I will not be voting for Trump and have never voted for him.

There’s one American who must be angry about the release of Wall Street Journal reporter Evan Gershkovich and 23 other Westerners from prisons in Russia and elsewhere. That angry American is Donald Trump.

Trump has bragged, as he has when speaking of many problems, that only he could solve the problem. Back in May, he wrote on his Truth Social platform that Gershkovich

will be released almost immediately after the Election, but definitely before I assume Office. He will be HOME, SAFE, AND WITH HIS FAMILY. Vladimir Putin, President of Russia, would do that for me, but not for anyone else, and WE WILL BE PAYING NOTHING!
Few social media posts, even from Trump’s hand, have aged so poorly.

You are including the WSJ in this group?
It's case-by-case. Doesn't matter what a media source has reported in the past, as soon as one is critical of Trump they become totally untrustworthy.
Conversely, they could be the Moscow Times or Russia Today and as soon as they're Biden-critical or Trump-supporting they become absolutely reliable.

No, I don't. I will not be voting for Trump and have never voted for him.
Good start!
But trusting a tyrant dictator about ANYTHING is a giant step backwards. Reminds me of when the jackass trusted Putin over his own intelligence agencies.
It’s safe to assume that Lukashenko is lying until you can verify what he says with a reliable and independent source or two.

Hmm, seems like Sleepy Joe and his sidekick may have had nothing to do with the recently announced prisoner exchange. That doesn't stop them from jumping in front of the cameras to take credit.

This is what makes the claim that Russian disinformation campaigns don’t have a material affect on elections so laughable.

It doesn’t even take Russian bots for you to buy bullshit, you’re literally buying it wholesale directly from one of the biggest horses mouths.

Imagine what a few thousands Russian bots bouncing all over the comment sections of the articles you read, the videos you watch and the social media you scroll through does to your brain when you buy the words of Lukashenko without question.

It won't matter. Your reason for accepting Russian media as credible - you don't like, so you reject, US media - is a nonstarter.

In your opinion, which I don't find convincing.

I trust Lukashenko on this because Democrats and their compliant media have done nothing except feed us lie after lie after lie for 8 years.

Lukashenko Says Biden Had ‘Nothing to Do With’ Historic Prisoner Exchange

"Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko said Friday that U.S. President Joe Biden had “nothing to do with” the biggest prisoner exchange between Russia and the West since the Cold War.

Washington and Moscow carried out a historic prisoner swap on Thursday, with Russian authorities releasing American journalists Evan Gershkovich and Alsu Kurmasheva, former U.S. Marine Paul Whelan and German citizen Rico Krieger, as well as several Russian political prisoners. In total, both sides released 24 people.

“You saw it happen, the [prisoners] were released. We were asked [to participate] and we got involved, helped in what ways we could,” Lukashenko was quoted as saying by Belarusian state media. “People who were sentenced for life in the West were freed.”

Russian President Vladimir Putin thanked Lukahsenko on Thursday for his “gesture of goodwill and the pardon of a German citizen sentenced to death, R.Krieger.” Earlier this week, the Belarusian leader granted the pardon for Krieger, who was convicted on six criminal counts including terrorism in a secret trial held in late June.

“Of course, someone like the U.S. President will boost his authority with this, even though he had nothing to do with it,” Lukashenko said, referring to Thursday’s exchange."

I thought president Biden had the perfect response when he was asked about the jackass’ assertion: “then why didn’t he do it when he was president?”.
That demonstrates pretty clear thinking.

Not my opinion.

Your reason for according credibility to Russian media is this: you have determined that US media is not credible, so, therefore, you've decided that Russian media must be credible.

????

Your reason(ing) is silly.

Well, it's up for discussion but the only thing you guys can come up with is to complain about the source. Got anything else?
No....facts are not up for discussion.....you silly "alternate facts" people are so groomed!

Not in general.

I've learned how stupid it is to believe our American media after their sad, pathetic record over the last 8 years.
Ok, Comrade..... 😏

Not in general.
The above is silly, as I pointed out:

You say Russian media is credible. Your reason for making this leap of faith? Because you say US media is not credible.

"Silly" is the most generous description of this.

Not in general.
You see, the problem with your reasoning is that MSN simply reported what Lukashenko stated without independent verification. Truth is, we will likely never know for sure how the deal went down. Those things simply aren’t negotiated in the public domain. On the other hand Lukashenko has a motive for dissing the president.
Personally I find it very hard to believe that the president had absolutely nothing to do with getting US citizens out of Russia. Furthermore there is no way this deal goes down without maintaining good foreign relations with our allies, something the jackass is very bad at.

According to the wsj article, Biden, Harris, and others in the Administration were involved.

Re the bolded: so true.

Your's is the only reasonable discussion I've seen in response to my post.(y)

That sort of deal absolutely requires that people at the highest level to sign off on it. I can’t prove that Biden was involved but I sure as HELL don’t believe a word Lukashenko belches. He’s a Putin twin.

President of the United States had nothing to do with prisoner swap?

LOL. I cant believe you fell for such propaganda.

You trust a fascist suckibg up to a bigger fascist? How nice.

Everyone seems to miss the point here.

Russia got everything it wanted and still is taking shots at the Biden administration. I think the Russians are confused and are trying to give Biden plausible deniability.
