Biden EPA To Ban Chlorpyrifos, A Pesticide Linked To Brain Damage In Children​

The Trump administration refused to take the chemical off the market, ignoring the recommendation of Environmental Protection Agency scientists.

The Environmental Protection Agency announced the move on Wednesday, reversing a 2017 decision by the Trump administration. For years, agricultural giants and the chemical industry have battled with environmentalists, public health experts and farmworkers over the future use of the chemical.

“Ending the use of chlorpyrifos on food will help to ensure children, farmworkers, and all people are protected from the potentially dangerous consequences of this pesticide,” he said in a statement. “After the delays and denials of the prior administration, EPA will follow the science and put health and safety first.”

Too bad President Biden has to devote so much of his presidency to cleaning up messes by the previous administration. He could have done so much more already if he didn't follow such a selfish traitor. Instead he has to deal with the fallout from the trump incited insurrection, the covidiots who still think it's a cold after over 600,000 dead, the cultists who still believe the BIG LIE and want to suppress voters in the US, etc. Trump was a worthless failure and we are all suffering the effects of his time in office serving at the pleasure of Mr. Putin. Dont know much about it but sounds good.
Ill have to look for it but i think i remember reading one time that theres quite a few things (food additives and pesticides) that we use that most of Europe, Canada and or Australia have banned . . .
Shocking to think that goes on . . i mean there's cases of all 3 doing it but we dont thats shady as hell
