If that's true is based on current market and regulatory conditions. They DON'T want to increase their production. That is not in their business model for 2022......why is that a difficult concept for you to grasp? Oil companies are using their money to buy back shares NOT to increase production......its not difficult just not your preferred narrative.
Because it's not the narrative fox is telling them to follow. They DON'T want to increase their production. How so?If that's true is based on current market and regulatory conditions.
Biden has accused oil companies of not using leases. But there are legitimate reasons why.
No it's not in your link. It's in my link.
She didn't read it.No it's not in your link.
That is obvious at this point. She didn't read it.
Yes, it is.No it's not in your link.
No kidding. And what achieves shareholder value changes under different regulatory conditions.Really? No, that is just intellectual laziness on your part. The executive clearly states permits are not the issue and thay their focus is sharholder value including stock buy backs.
In other words...." uncle " on your part...No kidding. And what achieves shareholder value changes under different regulatory conditions.
Projection.In other words...." uncle "
Hoot!Projection.
Why are you being so cryptic? Make your argument. No kidding. And what achieves shareholder value changes under different regulatory conditions.

distorted view here-------------I suggest finding a valid sourceOil industry debunks Biden admin's narrative meant to deflect from hostile policies as gas prices skyrocket | Blaze Media
As gas prices skyrocket, the Biden administration has been blaming oil companies for a lack of domestic production, a narrative that deflects from the administration's policies that are hostile toward fossil fuels. But representatives for the oil industry say the Biden administration is not...www.theblaze.com
They absolutely know this is a dishonest deflection, yet double down on it.
Aand Trump is mentioned again! Drink!"There are 9,000 approved drilling permits that are not being used," Psaki repeated on Monday. "So the suggestion that we are not allowing companies to drill is inaccurate. The suggestion that that is what is hindering or preventing gas prices to come down is inaccurate."The claim deflects from the administration's policies hostile toward fossil fuels. Even as gas prices skyrocket to historic highs, the Biden administration is looking internationally — to Venezuela and Saudi Arabia — to supply American oil needs, instead of working to empower domestic producers.Oil industry debunks Biden admin's narrative meant to deflect from hostile policies as gas prices skyrocket | Blaze Media

Are they using the leases or are they not?
saying something that doesn't support a Trumpist narrative ≠ "deflecting".
At any rate, we are now embargoing Russian oil. You called for it. Are you going to also be blaming Biden for high oil prices?
Correct !!! How about the oil companies forgo some of that $174 BILLION profit they made in 2021?They DON'T want to increase their production. FOR THE RECORD - THIS IS FROM 2004
Most oil leases on public lands go unused
A review of federal records shows that nearly three-fourths of the 40 million acres of public land currently leased for oil and gas development in the continental United States isn’t producing any oil or gas.
Nearly three-fourths of the 40 million acres of public land currently leased for oil and gas development in the continental United States outside Alaska isn’t producing any oil or gas, federal records show, even as the Bush administration pushes to open more environmentally sensitive public lands for oil and gas development.
An Associated Press computer analysis of Bureau of Land Management records found that 80 percent of federal lands leased for oil and gas production in Wyoming are producing no oil or gas. Neither are 83 percent of the leased acres in Montana, 77 percent in Utah, 71 percent in Colorado, 36 percent in New Mexico and 99 percent in Nevada.
How much exploration has occurred on the nearly 30 million acres of non-producing public land leases is difficult to say. BLM officials could provide no details on the number of exploratory wells drilled on those leases, despite repeated requests for that information over the past two months.
