That article is one big whine. They couldnt even deny that they arent using the 9,000 unused oil leases they still have.

All they did was complain that the administration is anti-fossil fuels. Yeah, it is...they were clear on that while campaigning, they said they were interested in exploring and developing alternatives and encouraged oil companies to get more involved in that as well.

There's no deflection, the oil companies are playing the victim and no harm is actually being done to them.
