Biden diagnosed with ‘aggressive form’ of prostate cancer

What hope do the rest of the regular Joe's have if the most powerful person on the planet can get, and not know, with the best treatments and doctors available to them?

Very wealthy people with the best doctors get cancer. 🤷‍♀️ When Alex Trebec was diagnosed, he was at stage 4 pancreatic cancer. David Koch died of prostate cancer.

Yes, cancer can be missed. And the best treatments don't save everyone -- no matter how "powerful" they are.

But everyone here seems to be absolutely certain that all forms of prostate cancer take years to develop and that tests are accurate, so why not just get tested once a year? You'll surely avoid all of this.

I was really talking about the catching of it (early is best!), not so much the treatment (which yes, the wealthy get the very best of)

As I said, Alex Trebec didn't know he had cancer until he was stage 4.

All you can do is get tested annually and if you keep getting negatives but develop symptoms, ask for further testing.

You know, like Biden did.

His form of prostate cancer is rare, however. It is aggressive ... IOW, very fast, and very quick to spread. But again, compared to other prostate cancers it's rare. I'm not trying to scare anyone with this info or say there isn't hope. *Most* of the time there is a lot of hope. But what I see here is another hope: that Biden was !!!covering it up!!! And that's influencing people to get more and more into the weeds with this. With his form of cancer, if he had it while he was campaigning he'd be gone by now, most likely.

No, my link does say that.

Re-read what I wrote. A number of other sources, including the one by Hatuey (just before yours), do say that.

Your link doesn't say anything about timeline.

Which post #?

And yes, my link states that most forms of prostate cancer are slow, but that aggressive prostate cancer proceeds quickly.

Not sure why this is such a problem for some people.

You know, I got to thinking that weird thing Biden said back in 2022 on an interview kind of hits a little differently now.

I think we all wondered if it was a gaff back then, too, didn't we?

Or did he have some other cancer? I don't remember. I know he had a skin cancer thing, but...

#140. I responded to it just before yours.

Do you really think the day cancer starts to develop it us caught??
Did you really just post that?

Again, Prostate cancer is one of the slowest developing cancers. 'fast' is normally years. Biden is at stage 4 - spread into the bone. That does not happen in one day, or even one year.

Find one post in which I've made fun of the former President for anything. Go ahead--try to find one. No, better suggestion is that you address ugly and untruthful accusations to somebody else, a "you" who has spit in Biden's face and crapped on his life's work.
I wasn’t making a personal accusation.

You take their side, you attach yourself to their moral weight.

Testing yearly is a must. You and I don’t often agree but I personally know the importance of PSA testing. That is part of what I am a bit confused about with President Biden’s recent diagnosis. I cannot imagine that it was not part of his yearly physical, and it has only been 10 months since he was given a clean bill of health.
Anyways…..I totally support yearly PSA testing for all the men out there. It can save lives.

I want to know if he had any PSA testing done during his Presidency, and the results? I cannot imagine any physician would not have this very common blood test done on the President of the United States.

Right and the fact that it metastasized to the bone shows he's had it for a while.

Hope he recovers. Cancer is a bitch,is likely to take many of us commentating to our grave.

Seems to me that Nota Bene speaks for herself fairly clearly. Also seems to me that you're the one attaching other people to what she says. Heal yourself.

No, you have a sacred duty to police your own side. The right has forgotten this, and now fascism has taken root.

And, true to its form, the fascist supporters deny anything remotely bad and pretend they are flawless paragons of virtue. These exercises in sympathetic virtue signaling after Fox News, OANN, Trump, and the right wing media ecosystem have been trawling through the mud 24/7 to needlessly bash Biden in all kinds of heinous ways now turns around to pretend they had nothing to do with anything they just did.

Well, some of us aren’t so gullible that we would applaud performative sympathy.

From what I have been reading from experts on this subject, yes he did indeed have the cancer for a while, in facts…years.
That was a quick turn from:
I wish Joe and his family nothing but healing. Cancer sucks. No matter political affiliation, I would never ever wish this upon anyone.
To your CT.
