Biden's claim is relying on the expectation that Pfizer and Moderna will each deliver 200M doses by the end of May. That alone will be more than enough to vaccine every adult in the US who is likely willing to get vaccinated by then. The J&J doses are basically extra, but if they can deliver 20 million in the first month, it seems unlikely that they could not do at least 15 million per month after that with existing capacity, meaning that we'd technically have enough for pretty much every adult (regardless of willingness).

Michigan is already manufacturing more ,J & J so double your numbers with the addition of the Michigan plant alone the first month.

President Biden announced J&J would be running its U.S. facilities "24/7" to speed vaccine out the door.​

The Merck thing will take months to make a significant difference, and by then we'll probably already have enough doses available in the US to vaccinate everyone who is likely to be willing to get vaccinated. Convincing the rest will probably take longer than getting enough vaccine for them, even without the Merck thing.



Nothing is available at any of those places where my mother lives.

The Rite-Aid site is especially precious. Every time you want to check if they have availability, it makes you go through the process of inputting your information to see if you are eligible BEFORE they let you navigate to the page with a list of 10+ stores in your area. Then you you have to click on each one individually to find out that none of them have any availability.

That doesn't appear to be something that the state government actually has any control over. That does appear to be something that the owners of Rite-Aid are responsible for. Maybe you should be letting the owners of Rite-Aid know how dissatisfied with the Democrats who are running the company.
