How is it that it is ok for our Government to State that a Government Job
opening will only be filled by a Black Woman ?

Isn't that blatant Racism ? The Greatest Evil in the Liberal world ?....

So no one can be a better choice than a Woman who is of African Decent ?...

Now if Biden had condoleezza Rice in the mix that would be good, because she was/is Smart,
very well educated and showed Class ! A Far cry from the likes of Harris.
 

How was it okay for Ronald Reagan and Donald Trump to both announce that they were only going to consider females for the current openings on the court they needed to fill? Was that blatant sexism?

Did they say that? Do you have some proof of their actual words? I'm sure they said they would consider women. In fact, Trump interviewed women when he picked Kavanaugh and said Barrett was his second pick. So, naturally he nominated Barrett. That's not what Biden is doing. He said he'd only pick a Black woman for the SCOTUS during his campaign for President to get Black votes. All political and nothing to do with competency and merits. There are Black women who are competent and have the background to be a Justice on the SC. But, why exclude others because of the color of their skin? That's racism. Affirmative action is racism.

This isn't a random job opening on LinkedIn. I would imagine Biden already knows exactly who he is going to pick (or at least has it down to 2 or 3 contenders).

Saying it's going to go to a black woman isn't excluding anyone, it's just Biden tipping his hand about who is on his shortlist. Just like Trump saying he was going to pick a woman wasn't sexist, it just meant that he was already going to pick a woman.

If I, as a private sector employer, were to advertise this kind of thing for a job opening I'd be sued into oblivion. Yeah, employers have preferences regarding who they hire and certain jobs might REQUIRE that a given demographic be avoided or chosen (no males as the women's locker room attendant, for example) but when a position requires only intellectual and communications talents then race, gender and any other external factor, if considered at all, should NOT be the primary factor.

This coming from the party that intentionally places corrupt, far right-wing judges, groomed to be religious whackadoodles, on the courts. They choose based on their criteria, and here is Biden choosing based on leading the nation with black empowerment via a SCOTUS appointment. Loads of people are qualified for the position, he's choosing to make it a first for the nation.

If you want to choose based on ideology that's SUBSTANTIALLY different than EXCLUDING candidates based on race and/or gender. Neither race nor gender are determinitive of one's intellectual skill set.

There's no Asian man/woman, native american, Indian, Chinese, etc... Why is a black woman long over due? There is already a black man. I mean, this is the way is supposed to be done, by racve, not qualification, right?
 
That was not Reagan's campaign speech you posted. Again, did he say it during his campaign? You can't even answer the question I posed correctly. How smart was that? NOT!
As for Trump, again, he had Barrett already second on his list. Not because she was a woman only but because she was a conservative woman that believes in the sanctity of life. It didn't mean he didn't look at other men. He picked Kavanaugh first.
As for Biden, he said what he said because of the election. Not because of equality or Wokeness either. His decision is purely racial and sexist.

It was an official government document that was released and referenced his campaign promise in 1980 right at the beginning of the article. So you are being completely obtuse or pretending to be. Either way, I'm like the other smart people. I don't do troll posts.
 
So, again, this is not proof of a campaign speech that promised he's nominate a woman to the court. This is not smartness. It's being aloof. Some call this Mr. Smarty Pants. In any event, Biden's reasoning was pure political for the election.
 
So, no black woman in the entire country could possibly be qualified for the supreme court except Condoleeza Rice? That's your claim, and you're calling us the racists? LOL.
