"Biblical proof" is an oxymoron.

The bible says the Earth is flat, that someone lived inside a whale, that every single person on earth came from two people that were created from dust.

Its not a science book, don't treat it as one.

No, even Aristotle said normal folk knew the earth is not flat simply by watching boats get lower and lower as they approached the horizon.,
