Bernie Sanders defends Hillary Clinton: 'The American people are sick and tired of hearing about your damn emails!' - Business Insider“Let me say something that may not be great politics,” Sanders said. “I think that the Secretary is right.”
“The American people are sick and tired of hearing about your damn emails!” Sanders said, as the audience cheered.
“Me too, me too,” Clinton said, laughing.
“Enough of the emails — let’s talk about the real issues facing America!” Sanders said.
Too bad the media is reporting that Bernie screwed that up. His line has been "We're sick of hearing about the damn emails, and why did you put us in this position?". He has repeated his aggravation with Hillary for doing this (and distracting from the real discussions) and apparently he practiced it over and over before last night, but delivered it wrong so people think he was saying he agrees with her.
Hillary won that mistake by capitalizing on it. I like Bernie but this is one more indication that he isn't ready to be POTUS.
PS if you want evidence of this being discussed in the media this morning, please Google it. I saw a half dozen people on both MSNBC and CNN saying it.
Pundits have hours in a day to fill and not the brains to do it. It clearly wasn't a mistake. There was no fumbling or bumbling about it. he and most the rest of us would simply like policies discussed than watch a witch hunt that organizations pretend is news.
I respect your opinion too, as you know, Rob. I don't like your politics but I like your posts. But they were in consensus here, and it wasn't Fox News. It was people from Wapo to MSNBC to CNN to Bloomberg to the NY Times.
And besides, it's Barack Obama's staff who are still investigating it. The FBI. If Bernie thinks the investigations should stop, then he criticized Obama's people last night. Insiders were telling political experts last night that it wasn't his intent to make it look like he supported her. He was supposedly practicing his delivery and muffed it. Again, I'm only repeating what they said.
I think they are shilling. Bernie's strength is his consistency. he didn't flinch one bit as if he intended to retract or say anything else. All these commentating folks have is speculation on what they THINK they believe he should have said. They didn't have a script. So it's all fabricated nonsense with no way they can prove a single thing about what "he intended" to say unless he flat out told them what he intended to say. They are pretending to be mind readers which is about the weakest assessment a pundit can try to pull.
They may have all been making it all up, but they were saying that Bernie's camp was saying this to them. It was Bernie's people who talked about him practicing and all of that.
Then I would stand corrected if that is the case.

I wish he had said "your goddamn boring ****ing emails, and by the way, that outfit makes you look like Omar the Tentmaker" but I know that would have been frowned upon.
If you are making this claim, then it's up to you to prove it. I'm not doing your research.
You don't know Bernie very well, he would never say such a thing.
I feel bad for you, pete. You have a pretty severe reading comprehension issue. Nobody asked anyone to do any research. If you want to watch the same thing I did, you can download this morning's episodes of CNN and Morning Joe. Then hunt down the people who made the claims and ask them to provide you with their research.
Earlier you mentioned Googling it, it's what you're doing now. Again if you or the pundits are saying Bernie screwed up then it's up to you to prove it. What exactly did they say?!?!?!
The moment displayed the stark difference between the Democratic debate and the Republican debate, that was loaded with insults about looks and quickness to jump to use anything to gain the advantage. One of the best moments of the debate. The loud cheers and the two of them shaking hands.

Yesterday I mentioned Googling it because neither network would have their shows online. Today you can download it yourself. It's your choice. If the pundits made a claim that you disagree with, take it up with them. You can start with Mark Halperin, who not only said it yesterday, he also said it today. I'm not his PR person. I also didn't make any claims, I repeated what others said. Reading comprehension, pete. This isn't hard.
What part of "I think the secretary is right," is a misstatement? From the hand-shaking and so on, it sure seems to me like he delivered it as intended.tres borrachos said:...and apparently he practiced it over and over before last night, but delivered it wrong so people think he was saying he agrees with her.
Just as I thought, Mark Halperin didn't say what you thought he said. He said Bernie Sanders was not prepared for the debate.
Mark Halperin: Bernie Sanders Was '''Totally Unprepared''' For Debate
Another lie debunked
No wonder she didn't want to post any links
