Beijing Announces New Plans to Break International Law in South China Sea

I wonder how many lives will be lost over a lousy piece of real estate?

Backing down only makes it more likely China will try it again further down the road.

When the options are "let the Chinese have the South China Sea" and "don't do that" there's not much room to play things out.

The Chinese don't seem very interested in negotiating.
