Have you read any of his books?

I am currently reading 'Dreams from my Father'

I really did not expect him to be such a good writer. I love the book, from a political, artistic and entertaining point of view.

I've been meaning to pick one of them up, but I haven't even finished reading the three massive political books I just bought.

Yes, I've read it.
And yes, he's a good memoirist.
I had expected it; he's an articulate man.
Writing memoir is not the same as writing fiction.
An articulate person should not have trouble telling their life story in a clear, coherent voice.

I have read 'dreams from my father' although well written, i found it a little flat and clinical. Worth a read though.
